Chapter 4

"Here is your black coffee and your croissant Sir", Ashley said and Rafael is still staring at her which made tremble and spilled a little hot coffee on her hand.

"Ouch", Ashley said.

Rafael took immediately the coffee form Ashley's hand and said :"Are you ok ?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. It happens to me almost all the time", Ashley said and then looked at her hand.

But then Rafael noticed that her hand was a little bit red.

"Are you sure you are ok ?", Rafael asked.

"Yes, Sir. I'm fine don't worry", Ashley replied and then hide her hand.

"Then let me see your hand if you are really alright", Rafael asked.

"I'm alright Sir you don't need to worry for me", Ashley answered him but suddenly Rafael takes her hand which was burned by the hot coffee and then he blew on it.

Ashley was like frozen at that moment while looking at Rafael who is blowing on her hand.

"It's not serious but you'll have to put ice on it", Rafael said.

"Yeah, sure. Thank you Sir", Ashley said, trying to free her hand.

"Rafael. You can call me Rafael, not Sir", Rafael told her.

"Alright Rafael. I'm just going back to the counter now and don't hesitate to call me if you need something else", Ashley said and then returned to the counter.

"Ash, are you ok ? Your face is a little bit red", Lola asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I think I just need a little break. I need some fresh air", Ashley said and then removed her apron and came out of the coffee shop by the back door to the kitchen that was right behind the counter.

But when she returned inside, Rafael was no longer at his table. She turned her head everywhere to try to find him but it was obvious that he was no longer in the coffee shop.

"Uh... Lola ?! Where is the guy who was sitting at this table there ?", Ashley asked curiously.

"You mean Mr. S*xy", Lola said with a flirty voice.

"Yeah but his name is Rafael actually", Ashley replied still looking for him.

"Even his name is s*xy. But why are you looking for him ? Is our Ashley interested in him ?", Lola said teasing her.

"No ! What are you talking about ? I'm really not interested in him as I find him very impolite. And I'm only looking for him because he...didn't give me any tips", Ashley said nervously.

"Really ? You are not interested by him ?", Lola asked with a flirty voice.

"Yeah, I'm really not interested in him", Ashley replied, a little bit annoyed.

"Ok, if you are really not interested in him then you won't need this card that he left for you then", Lola said while holding a small card in her hand.

"What card ?", Ashley said abruptly.

"See , you are interested in him. So now just admit it and then I'll give this card to you and he also left you very very big tip", Lola told her and then winked at her.

"Fine ! I may or may not be interested in Rafael. Give me that d*mn card now", Ashley said, trying to take the card from Lola's hand.

"Okay but you know that I've already taken this card in picture", Lola said while handing the card to Ashley.

Somewhere in the city's dock

"What happened ?", Rafael asked furiously.

"Someone diverted our new cargo last night. They attacked our men from behind then they didn't see anything coming. Apparently it was a planned attack", Carlos replied.

"Tell me it was not our new cargo of weapons", Rafael said still furious.

"Unfortunately, it was Capo", Carlos said.

Then Rafael shouted.

"It was a new military type weapons that cost me very much. How did they know we were carrying weapons ?", Rafael asked, who was fuming of rage.

"I don't know myself Capo ", Carlos replied and looked down.

"Who others were aware for these weapons ?", Rafael asked.

"Apart from you and me there was only Diego and Charles who knew. Charles was among our men who were attacked last night and the other subordinates with him last night didn't know at all what they were carrying. And for Diego, he has sent the weapons from Spain, that's all", Carlos replied quickly.

"How much has we lost last night ?", Rafael asked, still furious.

"Roberto is doing the exact inventory of all we lost and for the moment we only lost about 1O million but it's still rising", Carlos said.

"Are there at least some suspects or a track of who could do that ?", Rafael asked.

"For the moment, no, we don't have any suspects but many of our men are already working on it", replied Carlos.

"Keep me informed for any news and Carlos not a word to Mateo, I want to announce it to him myself when the moment will come. But for the moment I don't want him to worry for that", Rafael said.

"Alright, as you wish Capo", Carlos said.

Rafael's thoughts

"The person who did that will pay for this and I don't care who it can be. This person doesn't know at all in what mess he or she just put himself in".

Somewhere in a hiding place in the city

"Everything went out as you planned Mi Capo and Rafael doesn’t suspect anything at all," said two men perfectly synchronous and in turn so everyone finish the sentence of the other .

"Excellent ! You did a great job ! And of course nobody is still aware that I'm back in town, right ?", a mysterious man with a Spanish accent said.

"Si Mi Capo, no one is aware and especially not Rafael", the two men replied in turn again.

" Very good ! Because I really want to make a little surprise for him. Don't forget to keep a look at him in the meantime", the mysterious man said.

"The twins. You can move to the second phase of the plan now", said the mysterious man again.

"Escuché Capo (Understood Boss)", affirmed the two men at the same time.

"Rafael, you have no idea at all in what a mess you put yourself in right now. I'm coming to take back what belongs to me and no matter what it will cost me. You won't stop me this time ", said the mysterious man again and then laughed devilishly.

The rest of Ashley's day was like usual, she went on class, then worked at Jo's restaurant.
