Two weeks had passed since Doctor Roberts stabbed me. My wound is now fully healed, and before I get back to work tomorrow, I take mom and Noah out. Mom and Noah took good care of me while I was resting at home. I think they deserve a treat. Noelle is on duty at the hospital, but we are planning to wait for her here in the mall.

Mom, Noah, and I watched a Marvel movie, and then we ate at mom’s favorite restaurant even though Noah was complaining that he did not want to eat there. “Mom always takes you to your favorite fast-food chain, so you have to let her eat at her favorite restaurant this time,” I said, and Noah nodded.

“You are such a good boy, son,” I said as I patted his head.

“It’s because you are such a good man, dad. I am so lucky that you are my dad.” He said while smiling, and his eyebrows moved up and down. I chuckled at him.
