Chapter 20 - Finding Her

Christopher

I have been restless the whole night. Trent demanded we go and check on Miracle, but I refused. He has been a pain to deal with ever since my last interaction with her. Making sure that I did not have a second of peace by continuously growling, howling, and whimpering in my head.

I couldn’t help but recall the few interactions we had in the last few hours. When she agreed to come home with me, her words warmed my heart, and I hated the effect the mate bond had on me. From the conversation during our ride home, I determined she was very kind and forgiving.

I was sure she would be the Luna my pack deserves. The only problem was, I didn’t want her as my mate, but sadly, I couldn’t reject her either. I don’t think Trent and I will be able to go through the pain of losing our mate again. It didn’t matter if it was through rejection or through death.

I know it was wrong of me to only bring her home because I couldn’t reject or leave her to death

need to stop repeating previous chapters it's a good book but the repeating is making it disappointing when you pay to read more only to end up reading a repeat of last chapter

I’m getting annoyed with the repetition of content from different POVs it feels like a scam to get more money without having to actually make a story
