Chapter 111 : Mess

"Thea! Thea! Wake up!"

That annoying sound wakes me up as I groan. "What the fuck! Who's that?"

I put the pillow on my face so that the sound doesn't reach my ear.

"It's me. John. Wake up", he jerks me.

What the hell is wrong with this man? I growl, not getting up and switching sides.

"Thea. It's urgent. Please get up", he screams again.

"For God's sake!" I yell, turning to him. My eyes burn as I strive to open them. I believe it's not dawn yet. "Why the fuck are you yelling?"

He lets out a deep sigh and puts a pile of clothes into the luggage.

"Just get up. I'll explain to you", he says, hurrying to pack more stuff. Then his phone buzzes. He immediately picks it up, "yeah, Lora. You got the tickets? Great!"

He cuts the call when I still fumble on the bed to get up. I usually never get up before 5 a.m. And it's just 3:50 in the morning. I didn't get enough sleep.

"Are you going somewhere?" I ask, yawning and getting up from the bed.

"Not me. Us", he says, leaving me stunned.
