A House?

Jasper was being mysterious about where we were going. Ever since we got the DNA results yesterday, he had been acting strange.

"So, where are we going again?" I asked, trying at another attempt to get him to tell him where we are driving to.

"It's a secret." He mumbled.

I gave him a side eye, trying to access him to see if I could figure out what was going on by reading his face. But he had a blank expression.

"I'm nervous about speaking with Otis tomorrow," I said, trying to break the tension I was feeling.

"You'll be fine." Was all he said.

I remained silent after that, wondering if I had done something wrong.

Jasper continued driving until we left the city, getting to the more residential part of where they had well-kept houses, three-story houses with pools, and manicured lawns.

Kids were out playing basketball in their yards, riding their bicycles are just playing around in the streets. The place looked like wealth, and smelt like men and women who went to ivy league colleges.
