Destiny was thankful that the nice family bought her lies. She was glad that humans couldn't sense fear, or hear her hammering heart.
Jenna turned sharply and looked at her husband, “Cole !”
“It's what she wants, Jen,” He told her in an unexpectedly peaceful manner as he drove.
Her brows frowned, confused, then she turned to face Destiny.
“Are you certain, dear?”
Destiny glanced up at her, “Yes, Madam. I've done this kind of thing before.”
Jenna reeked of suspicion and displeasure, but she didn't force it.
“Chloe, can you be a dear and hand mommy's Duffle bag, please?” She asked the child.

The gym was vast. A wooden walkway split the building in half, leading to a set of bleachers in the far end. On either side of the walkway were 9 fencing strips, painted in silver and red. Destiny had a slight gash on one side. she was tiring quickly, she attacked the final wolf and took him down. she was exhausted, but satisfied. when she had started, it had been a little nerve-racking, but it truly was a test of skill. none of the wolves tried to seriously harm her, it was a good fight. she stretched her limbs, her back was stiff, and her left leg hurt slightly from the wound, but it was nothing serious.The circle had grown quiet as if all the wolves were holding their breath. Destiny was tailing Kelly and learning about her new duty. After being made a beta, she was allowed to work in one of the pack owned businesses.
