"Sit down, my friend. You know you are turning into my favourite patient." Dr Connery joked as he settled down to check Destiny's foot.

She gave an embarrassed smile." I don't do these things intentionally."

"Maybe you are just accident-prone," he laughed again. "Did you break your ankle in the last two days?"

"Yeah, I fell over a tree root while running," Destiny said without giving many details.

Jake smirked and shook his head.

"Ah! I see, it's healed but hasn't joined properly. I suggest you apply this salve and rest until tonight. You would be as good as new for the trials tonight."

"Thanks, doctor," Destiny said, folding down her yoga pants.

"So it's all good now ?" Jake's voice boomed. He had been quiet until now observing their interaction.

"Yeah, all good my Alpha. Just that the young lady seems to be more accident-prone than others." Dr Connery chuckled.

Nope they haven't. He just told her he didn't want her. But we all know at the end he'll get her she'll spread her legs for him because they always make the female character so weak and pathetic
