AARON.

The transfusion lasted for hours before she was transferred back to the recovery room.

Jake and Jason were also transferred to a different room, so they could rest for a while. Although I could see that there was no need for it, but as Lea advised, they needed to sit still for a while just for the sake of it. 

We were all gathered in the room where the Alpha and his father were when the doctor came in and explained that Janna was responding nicely to the transfusion and her vitals were steadily improving. She would need a few more hours to rest, but they were not sedating her anymore. She also mentioned that they didn't see any complications with our baby, only that its heartbeat was still relatively slow and they were monitoring it.

My heart clenched at the many possibilities running through my mind, but I tried to block it off.

The doctor left, but Lea stayed behind, a wide smile curved on her lips.
