The Witch's Window: Ch. 95

One week later, Taylor and I decided to go to town to shop for furnishings for her new house and I wanted to look around at the chef supply store. I have a few pans that are starting to wear out. We went to the mall and Taylor immediately wanted to go to Bath & Body Works. She was fully engrossed in smelling body washes when I saw her mother approach. I immediately mind linked our guards who were standing outside the store, “Taylor’s mom is here again and she doesn’t look friendly. I need a minimum of two of you in here now.”

My gaze goes back to Taylor and her mother has her hand pulled back as if to slap her. I run up behind her and grab her hand, “I wouldn’t do that if I were you. Leave Taylor alone. She has already made it clear that you are not wanted in her life anymore.” He mom started yelling, “I invested seventeen years in raising you. You owe me!” Taylor furrowed her brow, “I owe you nothing. You never even told me I was adopted. You didn’t tell me anything. You can’t tell m
