"I expected it," the woman hissed quietly, almost in hushed tones, her gray bead staring at Maxine, who was sleeping in Maxim's sling. "It turned out that this kind of thing did happen again."

When he heard this, Maxim frowned and turned his head, curiously looking at the woman. "Did it happen again?"

The woman turned her head, putting on a clumsy smile to conceal the carelessness she had just displayed. "No way. There is nothing, "she exclaimed, a little excitedly. "Please ignore me. I'm just messing around because I'm too tired to do anything else."

Maxim nodded, hesitant to believe the woman's words. "Go home if you're tired, madam," Maxim suggested, his face as tired as the woman who said she was exhausted. "Have your working hours just begun?"

The woman shook her head. "I'll go home after dropping you guys off."
