SIXTY TWO

                             I felt all the more dreadful. Cassandra was hovering over my head. Her gaze cut through me and I felt paralyzed. 

       I pushed myself up, drifting my gaze around. 

       "Finally you're fully awake," Cassandra said, with a smile. Her real smile astounded me. Werewolves tearing heads from their bodies, dead bodies, faeries fighting, faces of king Ricinus, King Kelstov, Prince Stipe plagued my thoughts. 

       "I'm not married, right?" I asked with a scared tone, with big eyes. My chin began to tremble. I held my tears. They fed on human pain. They tormented humans and mocked their suffering. I swung my legs off the bed and padded across the room. It was a different room. 

       "You're not married." She said.
