First friend

CHAPTER THREE

"Where is she?" Damon inquired as he exited the college campus area, Peter close behind.

"She has already arrived at the castle.  Guards tried to stop her, but she was deafening. Your mother is attempting to manage the situation, but we need to get there as soon as possible," Peter responded.

Damon nodded, and they both dashed into the woods. They transformed into their wolf form and quickly vanished.

Ignoring everything, they ran inside the mansion, only to find chaos. Damon's mother, Accalia, sipped her coffee, irritably, next to a girl who appeared to be arrogant.

Damon rolled his eyes as soon as his gaze fell on her, and he sighed angrily. "Best of luck!" Peter said as he patted his shoulder.

"Patricia, what brings you here again? How many times do I have to tell you not to come here, and especially not to come near me?" Damon asked.

"Ask your mother what I'm doing here," she replied cheerfully. She was clearly flying through the air with joy.

Damon was aware that something significant was about to come his way because whenever she smiles like that, something significant is about to occur.

"Mom?" he asked, looking at her mother, who had placed her cup on a nearby table and began, "She's starting your college today, and that's the reason for her excitement that she came here, and cause such a commotion for nothing."

Damon was at a loss for words, thinking, 'This can't be real!'

"But, Damon, since you and Patricia are both here today, please allow me to clarify something.  Please, for God's sake, keep your personal matters away from this mansion. If your father finds out what she did today, he won't waste any time before-"

"My personal matters?" Damon cut his mom off, "Mom, it was you and father who forced her on me, and now you're trying to play the clean card?  Don't think of me as a fool."

"That is due to-" Accalia began when Patricia rose from her seat and approached Damon. "That's because your pack requires my father's assistance to become more powerful, and in order to please my father, you must please me."

She said this while caressing his cheek seductively, but all he felt was disgust with her single touch.

"You just wait; the day I find my mate, I'll kick you out of this mansion!"

“Damon!" Accalcia exclaimed loudly, "Language!"

"No, aunt Accalcia! It's fine!  There are only three months until he turns twenty-one, and if he can't find his mate by then, he'll be forced to accept me for the sake of his pack."

"Three months is plenty of time for me to get rid of a leech like you," Damon said as he turned to leave when Patricia grabbed his arm. "Let's go together because our destination, I mean college, is the same."

Damon yanked his arm free from her clutches, yelling, "Peter, let's go!"

Patricia stood there watching them leave, but her smirk didn't fade as she whispered, "Damon, one day I'll make you mine! You'll approach me, pleading for my attention."

Hearing her, Accalcia rolled her eyes and murmured, "I just hope to see that coming before my death."

"Aunt, did you say something?"

"Erm no!  No, I didn't. By the way, you must be running late for college; go have some fun with my son."

"Yes, aunt, you're right; I can't leave Damon with those stupid human girls.  See you soon, bye," Patricia said as she walked away when Accalcia smiled and waved, "hope to never see you again, dear."

...

Elevena was running around campus, trying to find her class, but she soon realized she was lost and didn't know where she was or where she should go next when she received a phone call.

'Great! Because of this call, I'll be wasting even more of my time.'

"Who is calling me right now, despite the fact that I'm in college?" she grumbled, pulling her phone from her pocket.

"Yes?" she responds without seeing the caller's name.

"When in the world are you going to stop being so cold to me?" came Harris's voice.

"Harris, why are you calling me?" she sighed. 'You do realize I'm in college, don't you?'

"Yes, and I just wanted to confirm if you're okay," Harris said, and she replied, "Don't ask!"

“Why? Is everything alrigh-"

“Ah.” Elevena let out an agonizing scream.

“Hey! What transpired?" Harris inquired, concerned.

“Harris "I'll call you later," she said as she hung up the phone, not even waiting to hear his response, and looked at the person she had just bumped into.

She was taken aback by his appearance and wondered, 'Is this college a land of handsome looking guys or what?'

The man had white hair with a silver tinge that is soft and smooth. With each breeze that passed through them, she could see every strand of his hair.

He had the same hazel brown eyes as Damon. His eyes were glistening from the sun's rays.

She was in her fantasy land and wanted to explore him further, but he pulled her back and asked, "Hey beautiful, are you okay?"

She nodded and quickly replied, "I'm sorry.  I was on the phone and didn't notice you walking in. You're not hurt, are you?"

After hearing her, he began laughing. She was like a little lamb in front of him, but she was worried about him. It was obvious who had been injured.

"Don't you think I should be the one to ask this question? Because it's obvious who has a higher chance of getting hurt."

"No, no, no," she shook her head, "I'm fine, it's just your body being quite strong," she tried to brighten the mood. "However, please accept my apologies."

"It's fine, how can I mind bumping into such a lovely lady?" he said, taking Elevena's hand in his and kissing the back of it.

She thought it was awkward and insane, but she let it go with an awkward laugh.

"I'm Noah Alexander. You can call me Noah."

"Nice name, Noah. My name is Elevena Hale, and I'm a new transfer student. Nice to meet you!" she said with a pleasant smile.

“Wait! So you're the one! Was it you who sprayed Damon with water?  Believe me, the moment I heard about this, I became your fan," Noah exclaimed, laughing.

"So it's already become a hot topic," she sighed, "I just wanted to enjoy my new life starting today, but it's already been ruined because of some jerk."

"You don't have to feel this way," he began, "because he deserved it after what he did to you, and I'm really happy that there's actually someone who knows what's wrong and what's right, unlike those stupid fangirls of his. I'm not sure what it is about him that makes every girl want to be with him."

“Exactly! "A guy like him needed someone to teach him a lesson," she boasted, and Noah chuckled at her childish behavior.

"So, what are you doing here?  Do you not have any classes?"

"Of course I have. It's just that I'm lost, and this college has too many routes, so I don't know which one to take or how to find my class," she replied irritably, recalling how she'd been trying to find her class for the past hour.

"May I have the honor of directing my idol to her destination?"

She grinned. "Oh, come on. Stop because your charm isn't going to work on me."

"So, you believe I have a charm?  It's a good start, isn't it?" he said proudly as he made his hair with his hand.

"Shut up and let's go," she said, slapping his shoulder lightly.

They talked about various topics on their way to her classroom and had a great time doing so. And, most of the time, Noah tried to flirt with Elevena, but she ignored him as she had the first time.

She was overjoyed to have made her first friend, and the most amusing thing was that he disliked the same person she did. As a result, they were destined to be friends.

"Are you available for a lunch break?" Noah inquired, rubbing the back of his neck as he awaited her response. They had just met, so the chances of rejection were high.

"Of course, why not?  After all, you are my sole companion here."

"All right, I'll come pick you up," he said smiling, and Elevena nodded.

"All right, here you go. This is your classroom, so have some fun."

When they entered the room, the first thing they noticed was Damon's face.
