Patricia

CHAPTER FOUR

Elevena and Damon exchanged glances and said, "YOU?" at the same time.

'What does she have to do with this guy, Noah?'  Don't tell me they know each other and she's his new spy,' Damon thought.

'What in the world is he doing here?  Don't tell me he's my classmate and I'll have to see his face for the rest of my college life,' Elevena reasoned.

Noah smirked at Damon, then stepped forward and hugged Elevena, saying, "Okay, see you later."

She flinched at first when he suddenly hugged her, but then nodded, "Alright, see you."

"Is this how you're taking your studies seriously, Miss Hale? You're late for your first day," Miss Amber said.

"Isn't she the popular girl who threw water on Damon?" someone asked before Elevena could respond.

"Yep, she's the one," someone responded, and they all began to laugh even harder, especially the boys. How could they pass up such an opportunity to mock Damon?

And soon after, the entire class began talking about today's incident again. Because Elevena was unsure how to handle the situation, she remained silent. Damon sat in the back, staring at Elevena furiously.

Most of the girls and Damon were thinking about the uproar caused by Elevena. Damon wanted to kill her right away, without wasting any time. He had never felt so humiliated in his life as he did today because of a mere human girl.

It wasn't enough, because Patricia burst through the door with a proud expression. Damon threw his head against the desk, murmuring, "Now how much worse can it get than it already is!"

Ignoring everyone and the teacher, Patricia walked over to Damon's seat and sat next to him, saying, "Hey, Damon. Look, we've met again; perhaps God wants us to be together."

Miss Amber despised the way Patricia treated her, but she couldn't do anything because it was common in this college. These kids were the spoiled children of their wealthy parents, and anyone who dared to oppose them had to say goodbye to their career.

However, this did not imply that all of the children were the same. Some, like Elevena, don't care about their social standing and treat everyone equally.

Everyone's attention was drawn to Patricia as she arrived, and Elevena thanked God for sending her at the right time.

"I'm sorry Miss, this won't happen again," she apologized to Miss Amber, who smiled as she saw what a good student she is. She was pleased that Elevena knew how to respect her teachers.

"It's fine. Go ahead and take a seat."

Elevena took her seat, and Miss Amber soon began her lesson. Patricia was constantly talking and disturbing the entire class, but no one said anything.

She was sitting directly behind Elevena, and it was clear how hard Elevena was trying not to yell at her despite how annoyed she was. She couldn't understand a word the teacher said.

She tried her best to remain calm, but eventually gave up and said loudly, "Can you stop talking, or if you don't want to take class, just leave with your boyfriend?"

"Excuse me, but are you speaking to me?" Patricia was taken aback.

No one had ever spoken to her in this way before. She couldn't believe Elevena was talking to her, so she inquired.

'This stupid girl wants to die so soon,' Damon thought as he closed his eyes. 'As if I wasn't enough, she's now going up against Patricia.'

"Do you have deafness?  Of course, I'm addressing you. Who else do you think was blabbering the whole time except you?" Elevena responded.

"Wait a minute. I'll let you go this time because you called him my boyfriend, but if this happens again, believe me, you'll beg for mercy," Patricia replied, trying to keep her calm in check.

The entire class was aware of Damon's and Patricia's backgrounds, which is why none of them dared to oppose them. Elevena, on the other hand, has a bad relationship with them in just one day.

“Aww… I'm terrified! You rich kids disgust me; I wonder where you all get these manners," Elevena said, losing her cool.

'I need to stop them,' Damon thought, looking at her and then at Patricia, whose claws were on the verge of coming outside any minute.

Patricia charged forward, enraged, but Damon stepped between them before she could harm Elevena.

"Let it go," he hugged Patricia. "Why are you ruining your mood for a middle-class girl?"

Damon hugged Patricia and she couldn't believe it. He had never even looked at her before, but now he was hugging her.

"Okay, babe," she said as she hugged him back. "I never imagined you'd be so concerned about me ruining my mood."

Damon was disgusted, but he had no choice but to put up with it.

"Please take a seat."

Elevena also sat in her seat, rolling her eyes at their stupidity. Miss Amber was quiet the entire time because she wouldn't say anything about Damon or Patricia.

Miss Amber went on with her lecture, and when she finished, she asked, "So, any questions?"

When Patricia raised her hand, no one said anything, and everyone knew she was up to something.

"Yes, Patricia?"

“Miss… Umm... excuse me, but what was your name again? Oh, never mind, as if I care, so my question is, I was thinking, why don't we give this new transfer girl a chance to introduce herself because you see, I'm really curious about how middle-class people spend their lives," Patricia began.

She said this, and the majority of the class began to laugh in an attempt to embarrass Elevena, but it was nothing compared to what she had endured throughout her life to get to this point. As a result, she was unaffected.

Damon rolled his eyes and ignored Patricia's childish behavior.

"I don't mind introducing myself, but don't you think you should do the same as a new student?" Elevena said as she turned her face away.

Patricia scoffed, "Yes, but there's nothing new about me for all my mates here because their lifestyles are kinda familiar to me, but you..." she looked her up and down, "You know what I mean."

"Her college life will be difficult and fun for us," someone joked, and everyone laughed.

"Students, please remain silent. Mr. Hale, What are your thoughts? If you're comfortable, then please come here and give your introduction but it's up to you to decide', Miss Amber said.

"No, Ma'am, I have no reason to feel ashamed about my lifestyle," Elevena said as she stood up and walked over to the board to introduce herself.

Elevena started walking, and Patricia motioned to a girl named Bella who was sitting next to Elevena, and she nodded. Damon sighed as he noticed them exchanging signals.

Elevena was badly injured when Bella tripped her foot.

"Hahaha... she can't even walk, or is this how people of your caliber walk?" Bella burst out laughing.

Elevena remained silent, and the entire class began shouting and hooding.

Miss Amber quickly approached her and asked, "God, are you all right?"

"Yes, Miss, I'm fine," she said, attempting to stand back but stumbled due to blood-filled wounds on her knees.

"Oh dear, let me assist you," Miss Amber said, offering a hand.

“Yes, please…”

Nobody in the class tried to help her or even felt sorry for her; it was as if they would have preferred that something major had happened instead of a minor injury. Patricia was ecstatic about insulting her, but she wasn't satisfied.

She finally found someone who could bring her joy after such a long time, and in other words, she finally found a new toy to pass the time.

"Class dismissed," Miss Amber said as she escorted Elevena to the infirmary.

Damon looked at Patricia and thought to himself, 'She already hates her, and if she finds out about the morning incident where I kissed Elevena, she'll eat her alive. It's not that I care about her, but she's my target, and no one can touch her without my permission.'

Weak storyline. Lame and shallow characters. Better quality stories and writing here. Not recommended.
