Chapter Fifteen

Aiden’s POV

Nick came back to the office after an hour and a half but I didn’t gave him a hard time and ignored he was one hour late from his promised break.

“I’ll call it a day.” I said and pushed myself up from the chair. Nick mumbled a happy okay. The beta has a great day, I guessed. Shaking my head, I exit my office and went straight to my car.

‘I’m heading home. What are you up to?’ I asked Ashira in our portal which she replied fast by ‘Nothing. Be safe!’

My thirst for my mate and her presence never ceased, more like it increases but never went less. On the other hand, I’m starting to feel like she ain’t feeling the same way I have.

Though I’m not overthinking things. We’re bonded, there is no way that she will fell out of her love for me.

As soon as my car was on park, I went inside. The scent of cooked meat and freshly-made bread lingered on my nose. My stomach churns and I realized my hunger.

“Smells good, what are we having?” I yelled, marching to the kitchen
