[Ashton's POV]

My heart pounded in my chest as we raced towards the portal that would take us back to our world. For some reason, I had a bad feeling that something was happening there and didn't want Thia to be put in any more danger.

When we arrived at the portal, Haidan and Antoine were the first to go through, followed by Asher, leaving only Thia and I.

"Go!" I called as Thia eyed it. "I'll be right behind you."
