Chapter 4

There is a large full-length mirror in the room. I sneak a look at my reflection in it and the question rises in my blank mind. MY INNER VOICE ASKED ME, Who am I? A bride, A Escort, An object, Or someone's Purchased need or what?

MOM WHY AM I'M HERE WHERE I'M NOT BELONG? EVEN I DON'T KNOW WHERE IM.

Why is my life so cruel? Why? Sometimes I become an orphan, sometimes become a servant for someone, sometimes become a victim of someone's lust.  Even after this, God did not feel sorry for me, so today I became someone's Purchased!

I think I don't do anything except see myself in the Mirror Helplessly, I see how I'm looking, A face, big round deep ocean Blue eyes and a cute button-like nose which have no emotions. Fragile figure I feel I'm just like my Mom. I still looked like a teenager though I have turned 18 in the last few months. I'm a teenager who is lost, lifeless, Miserable. who has no hope or Ray of desire, I don't know what will happen in my life. I have no one who gives me support emotionally, physically or mentally. I have no one. No one here to ask me how are you dear? Mom: Nobody cares about me. Nobody asked me about my emotions and choice. Does nobody care what I want? Everybody only uses me as they want. Emotionally, physically, mentally.  I feel I'm in a hell where everyone only snatched my body like I'm a rugged doll who creates to release human frustration. Here Everyone wants to destroy me, crush me under their feet.

This feeling is so depressing and suffocating. But my misery did not end here, in fact, I became the girl who purchased it to be a wife. A contract wife. I was shattered into millions of pieces when I heard about it. But here also I have no choice rather ept.

Every man is attracted to my body, From the outside. They said My body is as perfect as crystal but no one knows how many wounds are hidden under my thin clothes. I'm hiding the Purple ribs and the flower that blooms over my legs on the skin as fair as mine. It is easier to spot them. But with makeup, I can cover all of them up. No problem nevertheless. The marks are still there and I can feel the pain with each breath the butterflies turn into heavy Knots that are used inside my stomach and my hands doing with sweat. I have no words to say so I always quit. I am completely flooded with emotions and jumble together anger, fear, sadness.

Today is the day I say. I stare at myself in the mirror. I find a Pale girl in a wedding dress staring back at me for a moment as a sign of expression leaves my lip. The dress and wearing saree doubt is beautiful and beyond my reach. But I am the one who doesn't fit to be in a dress like this. What a shame!

The dress is all white deep v-neck, long see-through sleeves and backless. exposed that part which needed to be covered the most: my pain My scars, my grief.

After that dress, I wore the veil on my head and kept it in that way the entire time until the ceremony was over and the dress reached my ankle and I glanced down. I am holding a beautiful crystal pin in my hand. I feel like I have been holding onto it since forever.    my mom's pin. She was wearing this when she was married to my father. It's the only sign I have left of her now. It's my turn to wear it on my big day.

"Beautiful!" someone says. When I turned around, I found a bridesmaid greeting me with her beautiful smile. She looked at one and confirmed my look. I think she was satisfied with her work peeking over my shoulder, I was staring down at a dazing material and I felt somewhere I connected with my mother. I smile battling back tears as I recall all the little things that I can think of about her. She was here with me. "May i" she reached out her hands toward me,

I shook my head and gave my permission.

"Hey dear, I'm your bridesmaid." She said softly. She came towards me and scanned. "Hey Dear, what is in your hand." She pointed at my pin. "This is so beautiful just like you, give me the pin I will fix it in your hair." I gave her a tight smile on my face and She gently fixed the pin in my hair.

Finishing touch I feel her sliding the pin above my bun using it to keep my veil in place. I love how she puts my hair in a Messy bun updo and "You are done." She announced while grinning with amazement at her work of art admiring what I saw in the mirror. I beam at her. I gave her a tight and satisfactory small smile as Thanks.

She grabbed the white and pink rose bunches and handed them to me. "Your  Smiles tell me that you like my work." She said softly "Ma'am you please wait here for some time, I will be outside if you need me just press the ring." She said and left the room.

After an hour t, I was going outside to finish my so-called marriage and again caged myself for one year.

Oh my, I am taken out to a room where I will be singing and sitting on all the marriage documents including the marriage licence and Meet My One-year attract Husband.

On the other side, he watches her coming into his life. She is just like an angel. Who is pure and untouched? She looks like a water bubble that bursts in a single touch. She is as delicate as a flower and as innocent as a newborn child. How I protect her with me. How do I handle her? God knows But I  with all evil eyes who raise on her. "Miss Abril. Do you take Richard Moreno as your lawful husband, to have and to hold from this day forward for better or for worse, for richer or poor, in sickness and in health to love and cherish until death Do your part?"

Abril's brain was stuck on one side.  His name is Richerd Moreno, she never thought after she met him that she only wanted to run from here and hide her from all the world. Tear in her eyes and terror in her body how she stands there only she knows.

She heard what he said and she thought, `` Why did he say I will fulfil this marriage lifetime rather than a contract marriage?'' but then a sigh of relief escaped her mouth. It was a sign that it was a true wedding. So the moment the priest completed his sentence. She only took a second and then moved her head
