Felix's p.o.v

I stood outside the house waiting for Ian to pick up the call.

"Felix." He answered calmly.

"I need your help." I said without hesitation.

Ever since going through so much hardship and memories together, Ian was now my best friend. Although I had pride in most cases, he was the closest person I could talk to.

"What's wrong?" He asked in concern.

"My parents, they are dead." I answered sadly.

The line went quiet for a few seconds.

"My condolences." He whispered.

"Yeah thanks." I said as I moved away from the house.

"I want to look into the eyes of the one that killed them. So I'm leaving town tomorrow." I said then continued talking.

"If you would like to come along I would really appreciate it, because your help will be highly needed."

"Mmm, Felix you know how much I hate your kind right?" He asked.

"Yes." I answered in a low tone.

"So count me in, I would like to break a bone or two in them." He said.

I thought he wouldn't want to go because of that very reason!.

Omg does the coven just attack without reason that bloodshed is expected? Can’t wait to read how this adventure will go but why do I have a feeling they aren’t going alone this family never really leave anyone behind.

I think she needs to tell chase even if she prevents him from going. I think chase will feel hurt and might not forgive her. Great 2nd book so far! Excited for more!!
