She was looking at him with an open mouth.

“So you already told them that I was your girlfriend?” she asked him, appalled.

“Yeah, sorry about that. I really wanted Ashlynn to stay away from me.” he told her.

“But you didn’t even ask me for my answer yet!” she exclaimed.

“Was it going to be no?” he asked.

“No.” she told him with a frown.

He smiled, realizing that she was going to say yes.

“Then everything is solved.” He told her.

“Yeah, but you didn’t ask me or asked for my opinion when you decided to make plans for dinner for me.” she told him in a displeased tone.

“Sorry.” He told her apologetically. “I can tell them that you were exhausted at work and you decided to take a rain check.”

She sighed and looked at him.

“No, it’s fine. I’m only doing this once. Next time, do tell me these things before you make a decision for me.” she told him.

“Sorry.” He apologized again.

“Forget about it. What is done, is done. No use crying over spilt milk.” She told him.

“I’ll ask you
