Alex was an emotional wreck by the time he arrived at the hospital. He had just returned home after a meeting with some clients and a couple of meetings when John called, saying Ashly was hurt, and the beta didn't even bother giving him any other explanations. Alex stormed to the hospital without waiting for anyone to show him the way.

It had been two weeks since Ashly gave birth to Cecily, and the Omega insisted that she was healed enough to return to his work at a shop. Alex argued, saying, What if Cecily was hungry and needed to be breastfed?When they discovered that Ashly could still produce milk, both Tammy and Maya advised her that it would be more nutritional for Cecily to be breastfed instead of using formula feeding. Ashly countered by saying she had pumped enough milk to last Cecily the few hours that she would be away.

In the end, Alex had to agree.
