Chapter Fifty Nine: Don't tell Sebastian

“Please, don’t leave me,” Sebastian pleaded as he buried his head in Charlotte’s chest.

“I promise you I’m not going to leave you,” Charlotte said as she ran her fingers through his hair, trying to get him to calm down.

“I’m here,” she kept on whispering to him and it was very effective in calming Sebastian down as his breathing started returning to normal.

He had stayed beside his phone from the time Charlotte left the house with Henry. He didn’t realize how much he liked having her around until he saw her leaving.

She had brought about a wave of fresh air and light into his boring life and he was not prepared to go back to that boring life.

He became apprehensive when he couldn’t reach Charlotte. He thought Henry had taken her away from him forever.

This thought led to old memories and old wounds opened up which led to him having a severe panic attack; one he hadn’t had in years.
