Chapter 38

Even though Ryker seemed alright and that his wound had truly healed, I still urged him to check into the hospital the next day. I knew people would think I was being ridiculous especially since I was a sorceress so I should believe in magical things but still, I didn’t want to take any chances. Not when it came to him.

After breakfast Dmitry was taking him to the hospital for a medical check up. While they were gone, I went back to our room which was previously Ryker’s room, and sat on the sofa by the window. There were still a lot of things to figure out and right now, all I wanted was to talk with Seymour.
