Natalia:

“You’re still yet to tell me about your argument with mom, Natalia” Damien whispered, his breath hitting my neck as he spoke.

The two of us were sitting out on the veranda. His arm wrapped around my waist as he held me to his chest after having dinner, resting his chin over my shoulder, his scruff brushed against my cheek. Seeing as he had a long day at work; I told him to reschedule our run to another day, and we settled to stargazing.

I sighed and turned to face him. I didn’t want him getting upset after along day at work, but it seemed like we were going to have the conversation anyway.
