Chap 3: Departure to California

Early in the morning, Azura was awakened by screams and car engines. She lifted the curtains of the window and looked outside. Men with tall, athletic bodies are making fun of Elmer. They locked him with a rope and took him to her car.

The door opened and made a loud noise. Azura's face was grave and full of anger. One of the groups who saw Azura say disdainfully: "Your bitch's out, Elmer."

Their disgusting laughs continued. The bastards looked at Azura and were very coveted. She coldly approached Elmer, her blue eyes filled with gas as if to finish off all those evil men. But Azura tried to suppress her chaotic emotions. She pulled out a sharp knife on her side and cut the rope, freeing Elmer.

Azura said and brushed the sand over Elmer: "You're okay? Did they make fun of you?"

Kayler, who led Elmer's bullying group, was also the leader of the warriors and also the grandson of Harem. He was always egotistical, claiming that he was the one who was respected by Sir Henry; no matter what he did, Mr. Harem Henry did not blame. He said in a provocative voice: "Elmer, I see you enjoyed it? We see you do a lot of work for it. I wonder if this bitch let you crawl into her bed?"

"Dog boy. You keep your mouth shut. Fuck you." Elmer shouted furiously. He was about to jump into a fight with Kayler, but Azura stopped him in time. She did not want Elmer to be isolated by them, even punished by Sir Henry. Anyway, Elmer was still in this place.

Azura turned to Kayler with contempt and disgust. She slowly approached him without fear. Because in the fights between Kayler and her, the loser was always him.

"Kayler, I might be willing to sleep with Elmer, but it's not you and them. Also, if you want to get in trouble, I don't mind fighting with you one more time. But you have to know, this time I won't give in to you."

After saying that, Azura smiled slyly, thrusting the sharp knife into the car so powerfully that the men standing around were also afraid. They looked at each other apprehensively and then backed away. They know Azura's how strong they are and shouldn't mess with her.

Azura's words made Kayler lose face in front of everyone present. Kayler went crazy because she felt humiliated by someone as lowly as Azura. Anger seemed to take over Kayler's mind. He suddenly transformed into the form of a werewolf. His body became muscular; muscular muscles emerged and sharp claws.

"Azura, watch out behind!" Elmer shouted to get Azura's attention.

Kayler leaned over Azura to attack her. But Elmer warned her so that Azura could avoid Kayler's sudden blow. Although in a werewolf body, Kayler is firm, she is not afraid. She pulled out the silver knife in her body and fought him directly.

“Kayler, kill it. Kill that ferocious bitch.”

The cheers for Kayler from the scum made him even more aggressive. Kayler showed his bestiality, wanting his hands stained with Azura's blood. He aggressively lunged towards her and began a close-quarters fight. After half an hour of fighting, although Kayler was in the form of a werewolf, he still could not touch Azura. All of his attacks, Azura quickly dodged and fought back. Kayler could not hurt her but instead suffered slashes to his body from the weapon in Azura's hand. He didn't expect that he would still be no match for Azura, even in his werewolf form. The bleeding wounds made Kayler even more violent.

Loud shouts and sounds from the scuffle caught Harem Henry's attention. He and his subordinates quickly moved towards the two of them. Seeing Sir Henry's appearance, all those present stood aside to make room for him.

Seeing this scene, Harem was angry. He couldn't calm down any longer and shouted, "Stop it all for me."

Harem's authoritative voice made Kayler pause and take a step back. Harem looked at him with menacing eyes with a warning: "Return to your human form. Come see me after this to receive your punishment."

However, Kayler is still very bitter because he has not been able to defeat the opponent. But because his uncle gave the order, Kayler had to obey. At this moment, Harem approached Azura and said a few words to her politely:

"Azura, I find your actions very impulsive. Will you be able to finish the job and return to this personality? Or are you disagreeing because you have to go to that dangerous place, so you have a little anger on Kayler – your leader?"

Azura despised Harem's words. He said these words to want her to lose face in front of many people. At the same time, he also reinforced Kayler and her position. Azura said coldly, "It's a pity that you made a useless guy the leader."

With that, she entered the house and brought a backpack that she had prepared since last night. Azura walked over to his car, threw the bag inside decisively, and then turned to Harem frankly: "Sir Henry, I'm not a coward like someone but have to do three tricks nonsense as he said. Goodbye and see you one day soon."

She saluted Elmer and drove the car down the path, away from the territory of the wolf race. Away from that suffocating place, Azura had an indescribable feeling. She seemed to feel the freedom that she had long lost.

The journey from Montana to California takes about twenty hours. It took two hours to get to the capital where Conal Henry lived and worked. After completing the calculation, Azura pressed the accelerator to make the car go faster. She hoped that meeting Conal would go smoothly.

Overcoming a long road, Azura finally reached California - Los Angeles territory. Azura looked around and realized that this was the perfect place for vampires to live.

Following the address Harem gave her, Azura also arrived where Conal Henry was working. Standing in front of a massive building, she looked up for a moment and then went directly inside to meet Conal Henry. However, she is to be stopped by several guards. They looked at Azura with curiosity and some suspicion when they saw her wearing clothes that were a little different from everyone else here.

A guard with a tall build, a stern face politely said to Azura: "Ma'am, you can't enter this place if you have a weapon on you."

He said as he glanced down at the knife and pistol at his hip. Azura crossed her arms over her chest and replied:

"If I leave the weapon outside, I can get in, right?"

"A card is required to enter." The guard said as he held up a magnetic card in front of her. Azura glanced at him and replied:

"OK. Thanks." Azura gave an evil smile turned to leave. She knew that if she tried to break in, she would cause big trouble. So she had to find another way to meet Conal. She could not delay this.
