Chap 4: Face to Face

Seeing Azura really out of sight, the guards returned to their positions. However, Azura did not leave the building; she sat in her car and watched the people entering and exiting the skyscraper. At this moment, the edge of Azura's mouth smiled. That's it. She found prey to help you get past those guards.

Azura opened the car door and followed a woman. She is relatively similar in stature to Azura and has light brown hair. Azura's hair was slightly darker than the other girl's, but perhaps the guards probably wouldn't have noticed. Azura moved forward, walking on a par with the beautiful, petite woman who said:

"Ma'am, can you help me for a while?"

The woman heard Azura's pleading voice, and her eyes begged without a doubt. She stopped and asked Azura politely:

"Of course. How can I help you?"

Azura looked around, her arms around her stomach, her face grimacing as if she was awkward about something. The woman who only looked through her expression and actions immediately understood the problem. Then she calmly said:

"It's okay. You must have been awkward. I'll help you."

After that, the beautiful woman took Azura's hand and walked her into a fancy café. Looking at how she greeted the staff in the friendly bar, Azura learned that this girl could be a regular here.

The enthusiastic treatment of the girl in front of him made Azura feel a little guilty. Once inside the toilet, Azura no longer appeared to be in pain. She straightened up, faced the woman who had helped her, and said:

"Sorry for dragging you into the plan this time."

"What? Miss..."

Surprise and surprise appeared on the girl's face. Up until now, she still didn't understand what was going on and was knocked unconscious by Azura. Then, Azura carefully placed her on the toilet seat. Next, Azura opened the woman's bag to get the pass to the building, as the guards said.

After searching for a while, Azura smiled satisfied, her blue eyes glittered at the card in her hand, she said to herself: "Here it is!"

Azura took the long, white coat from the woman's hand and put it on. She looked at herself in the mirror; Azura felt fine and quickly walked out. Suddenly, a boy with curly blond hair and brown eyes ran to her; he greeted her friendly:

"Hello. I'm Kate Pauler."

Azura's face showed no emotion. In order not to let this guy suspect, she introduced her name and noticed the radiance in Kate's eyes:

"Hello. I'm Azura Helen."

After saying hello, Azura was about to leave, but Kate spoke to her naturally. This time he flirts:

"I am the manager at this cafe and also a friend of Xavia. She also comes here often. But this is the first time I've seen Xavia bring such a beautiful girl."

Listening to Kate's words, Azura learned that Xavia was the girl she had just knocked out and was sitting on the toilet. Azura looked at Kate so seriously that he stifled his smile. It seems his humor is not appropriate at the moment. Kate shrugged and cleared her throat at the awkward air. He quickly changed the subject of the conversation:

"So, would you like something to drink, Azura?"

"Today, I will invite you. Let's go over there and sit down!"

Ever since then, Kate has been babbling to herself. But this made Azura begin to feel uneasy. He seemed to be trying to hold her back. If she didn't move quickly, fearing that Xavia would wake up, things would become even more troublesome. That's why Azura coldly refused Kate's invitation:

"Sorry. I still have to go to work."

After saying that, Azura pushed open the door and walked out, making Kate feel regretful. Before he had time to react, her shadow was already in the crowd of pedestrians. Kate sadly returned to the management desk with a warm heart. It's a pity that I can't get to know a girl with charming beauty. Kate rested her hands on her split chin, muttering to herself:

"Is my handsomeness not her style? If I have a chance to meet her again, I definitely can't let her run away."

As for Azura, she was able to pass the security check of the building, thanks to Xavia's card. She looked around, seeing how they did it; she did the same. Azura swiped her card, the elevator door opened, and she stepped inside the elevator under the questioning gazes of several of her companions. Azura hoped that they wouldn't recognize her until she found Conal Henry.

According to the documents she read, this massive building, beautiful architecture, and enchanting is the design of Conal Henry. From this design, he became famous throughout the newspapers and social networks.

Azura didn't anticipate that; she didn't know where Conal Henry's office was when she got here. Suddenly she felt this plan was going for the worst.

Azura calmly thought. Suddenly she remembered Elmer's words every time they talked. He once told her that people with high positions usually have their offices in the highest places. Azura smiled, deciding to listen to Elmer's words.

Azura stood in a corner, watching the people in the elevator come out one after another. Now, it was just her and a petite girl who clutched the document with incredible difficulty. Azura glanced over at the girl in front of her; she only reached his shoulder. She wore a pair of thick glasses on her face but still could not cover all the freckles on his cheeks. Suddenly, a paper file fell at Azura's feet. Without hesitation, Azura bent down to help the girl. Then she gently put it back to its original position, not forgetting to remind: "Be careful."

With Azura's help, the girl replied:

"Thanks!"

Hearing the girl's thanks for her, Azura just nodded. The space in the elevator fell into silence again. Suddenly the elevator opened, the girl holding a stack of documents struggled to walk out into the hallway. Azura glanced down at the girl's legs; she guessed that part of the reason was also due to these high heels.

Seeing that Azura didn't step outside, she looked at Azura with a surprised expression.

"Aren't you going to get out of there?"

Azura was a bit confused and asked this minor employee: "Why should I do that? Isn't there another floor? Besides, I have work to do up there."

Hearing Azura's calm reply, the girl hurriedly placed the documents on the ground. She looked ahead, looked back, and quickly pulled Azura out of the elevator.

"Are you the new employee here? That floor, we absolutely cannot go up there. Only when the boss calls, the employee can only come up."

"Oh. Sorry. I'm impolite. My name is Anna. Anna George."

Azura was about to introduce herself as Azura, but she quickly withdrew. With a reluctant smile, she said, "I'm Xavia. Nice to meet you."

Hearing Anna's words of warning, Azura was sure that Conal Henry was up there. Then, Azura took out a photo from her pocket, held it out in front of her, and asked:

"There, is this person there?"

Seeing that the man in the photo was her boss, Anna's face showed surprise, and she subconsciously nodded. She covered her mouth, not daring to speak. Looking at her expression, Azura found it challenging to understand.

After Anna had calmed down, she whispered to Azura, as if afraid anyone would overhear:

"This is our most difficult director. If you don't have anything important to do, it's best not to see him."

"Why? Is he that scary?"

Azura asked in doubt. His face isn't that bad. To be more precise, Conal looks very dashing. Could Conal's personality completely go against his appearance?

Hearing Azura's question, Anna nodded in agreement. Azura showed a beautiful smile, her face showing no fear. If Conal is like Anna said, there is nothing to be afraid of for Azura.

Azura said, "It's okay. I'm not afraid of him."

After saying that, Azura stepped inside the elevator and pressed the button to the top floor. However, no matter how much she pushed, the elevator still wouldn't move. She clicked a few more times but could not improve.

At this time, Anna stood outside and explained: "If you want to go to that floor, you must have a VIP card issued by the corporation. People on the board of directors or senior employees usually have it. Otherwise, you won't be able to get up."

Hearing this, Azura frowned slightly. She found it troublesome and troublesome here. However, she still did not give up her intention to meet Conal Henry. She said: "Is there no other way here but to take the elevator?"

Anna carried heavy documents in her arms and answered Azura: "Of course it is. But the doors are all locked. It's over there."

Azura looked in the direction Anna pointed. She glanced over and saw that there was indeed a door at the end of the corridor. She silently went to the door to check. This door is locked, but it is a regular lock, not a magnetic one. If so, it won't be difficult for her. However, Azura would not act openly in front of Anna to avoid suspicion. She went back to Anna, then stepped into the elevator, and said:

"That's it. Maybe I should go back to my office. Thank you so much."

Anna gave a friendly smile and replied, "Nothing. I know you are a new employee, so you may not understand the rules here. Be careful not to make any mistakes. Bye, bye."

"Bye, bye."

Seeing that Anna had entered the office, Azura was relieved to act. She stepped out into the hallway and looked around. Soon after, Azura used an iron clip he had obtained from the pile of documents to unlatch the door. Just a few simple steps, Azura succeeded. She opened the door to enter the stairs smoothly.

As Azura walked most of the stairs, he suddenly came across a man leaning against the railing and smoking a cigarette. The weak light and smoke create a magical scene. When Azura looked at him from the angle she was standing, this man's angular face was sculptural and seductive. His hair is neatly combed with glue, and the straight high bridge of his nose makes him even more attractive.

Looking at him, Azura was mesmerized. Suddenly the man turned around reflexively and met her crystal blue eyes staring at him. Now, he and her face to face. At this moment, when Azura looked at him directly, she realized that the man standing in front of her was Conal Henry. However, it is much more stylish and elegant when looking at Conal outside.

Azura coldly greeted: "Finally meeting you, Conal Henry."

But different than she thought. When Azura mentioned his name, Conal's expression immediately changed. He dropped the cigarette in his hand to the ground, then extinguished the smoldering flame with the toe of his shiny shoe. Conal looked up at Azura and flashed a sinister and evil smile. In an instant, he was standing behind Azura. Then Conal pinned her to the wall, he leaned close to her ear, and said in a voice that was cold and menacing:

"Say! How do you want to die now? I will help you to be satisfied."
