Darin's POV

I look into her deep chocolate brown eyes intently. They are doing something in me. Something unusual, something I have never felt before. Is this what 'love at first sight' feels like? I honestly don't know, but I can tell that I can gaze into those deep chocolate brown pools of hers forever. She squints her beautiful eyes at me, the only thing that I can see as of now. Then she waves her hand infront of me making me finally snap out of it. I blink thrice and look back at her. She is there standing in all her glory, her body is clad in tight black tee shirt and pants with a leather jacket completing her all black badass look. Her jet black hair which is pixie cut, is looking beautiful. Her face, well I can't see her face as she is wearing a mask, that too, is black. I can tell that black is her favorite color, mine too from now on. Just her deep chocolate brown eyes can be seen through the mask. Now, I want to rip that mask off her face. She snaps her fingers infront of me this time. I smile when I see that her eyes are frowning. She is getting vexed. And I can't help but think how she would look with that frown. Cute? I bet. Not being able to stop myself, I reach for her black mask. But before I could even touch her, she grabs my hand and twists it so that now my arm is twisted behind me and I yelp out in surprise and pain while she tightens her grip on me.

"Don't you dare!" Comes her deep, dominating voice. I feel a shiver running up my spine at that. In all my twenty years of life, I have been with many girls but none of them were this dominant. I feel excited all of a sudden.

"Sorry! I just got carried away." I say quickly and she releases me slowly.

"Well, keep your hands, and everything else to yourself if you want them still intact." Now, she is threatening me. Interesting. I just smile at her and nod.

"Okay, but can you please at least tell me your name?" I ask hoping that she would tell me. But who am I kidding! She scoffs. "You wish." She then starts walking away but I chase after her.

"Please, I want to thank you. Thank you for saving me..." She stops walking and looks at me dead in the eyes. I shuddered internally. She is hell intimidating.

"Get Lost." She grits out. I frown. Why won't she tell me her name? Maybe I should tell mine first. Yes, you idiot!

"Okay, let me introduce myself first then. Hi! I am Darin Santi Morellis. Now, will you please tell me your name?" I ask once again hoping that this time she will tell me. She sighs and joins her hands infront of me.

"Will you please leave me alone? Don't make me regret saving you from those bastards." I press my lips tightly together. I feel embarrassed that I could not fight those idiots. They are the boys in my school who are in the rival team. Well you see, I am a player. Not that 'player' but a football player. Those boys attacked me today because my team won the match against them yesterday and it is not like I am not fit or I can't fight. It is just that they outnumbered me. They were five and I was alone. And I am no pro to fight them all alone. But this girl, damn! This girl fights like a pro and I have witnessed it all with my own eyes. She tackled them all like it was a child's play for her. From that moment, I have become a fan of her.

"I am really thankful that you saved me. And I am not telling you to show me your face just tell me your name, please?" I give her my puppy eyes. She rolls her beautiful eyes at me.

"Fine. Call me D." She says and I frown.

"Can't you tell me your full name?" She shakes her head.

"That is all you are going to get. Now, will you let me go?" She asks impatiently.

"Sure, but are we going to meet again?" I ask hopefully. I wanted to take her phone number but I know she won't be giving me that.

"Not a chance. Now move." She says and walks away while I stand there rooted watching her get onto her midnight black street bike. I chuckle. This girl has an obsession for the color black, for sure. As she drives away, I sigh and go into my car and drive off to my penthouse. My parents have given me that penthouse as my twentieth birthday. I will be graduating in just three months now. And my parents have promised me that they will let me go abroad. It is my dream to travel around the world.

As I reach my penthouse, I go straight into my room and plop on my plush bed closing my eyes reminiscing those deep chocolate brown eyes from just a while ago. Who is she? Why did she save me? Will I ever get my answers? I sigh and sit up straight, feeling restless.

D! Who are you?

My phone starts blaring and I glance at the screen to see that it is my dad. I smile and pick it up.

"Hey, dad! What's up?"

"Hi, son! Are you home yet?" He asks.

"Yes, dad. I am home."

"Alright, can you come over for dinner? Your mom and I have something to talk to you about."

"Dad, is everything alright?" I can't help but ask him.

"Yes, just come over and we will talk. You don't have worry about anything, son."

"Okay. I will be there in twenty." I say and hang up before getting ready to leave.
