CHAPTER 3: Mission; Meeting the Pack

They've already found their objective, Ashleigh has positioned her sniper rifle in a structure a few meters away from it.

According to the information, a high-profile murderer was residing in a unit in front of the building where she is presently.

Alfred Rotchster, a 35-year-old father with three daughters and a crippled wife, murdered a large number of people and selling their organs in order to fund the treatment of his child's illness. He has a background in chemical engineering and is well-versed in how to kill people in the most bizarre ways possible. However, their organization is different, and they can get any information they want in just a blink of an eye. This man has a huge bounty, but he was so good at hiding from the cops.

She observed her sisters walking inside the hotel with her binoculars. Vanessa wears her provocative clothing and scarlet lipstick while Ivory disguises herself as a businesswoman.

Ivory made a meeting with their target before the two parted ways at this residence. They're going to capture him in the act, and he'll be accompanied by his only child. Ivory informed him she was a Hematologist, a doctor who specializes in internal medicine and has a special interest in blood problems.

"Good morning Ms. Silva, please have a seat," Rotchster said, offering her a chair to sit on. She smiled and walked over to the seat, examining it first without him noticing it, and then sitting there once she was sure it was safe. He was a horrible genius at manufacturing poisons that would easily kill his victim, he could kill you merely by holding or sitting on something he offered.

"Mr. Rotchster, thank you for entrusting your children's medical care to me. Is there anything more I should be aware of before I start?" In response to the intelligent department of their business, Ivory's voice changed and her facial structure was altered. By picturing the structures of the device, they may simply change their appearance, and she is now utilizing a profile of a Hematologist as an example.

"They're all sick, if you can help me treat them, I'll give you all the money you'll need. Trust me, I can do anything if only my children could be cured," his voice was pleading. This man in front of her was a father, a father of three children with Thalassemia who require a bone marrow transplant as soon as possible, and each of his children will cost him a lot of money.

"Let me tell you this Mr. Rotchster, what you were asking will cost you a large amount of money. And it's not easy to get a match donor for those three kids," Ivory firmly said. Rotchster's face darkened as he didn't want to hear what Ivory's saying now but her goal was to show his real face.

"No, I can…I can find someone that will match them," Rotchster said, he was now out of control. His eyes were moving so fast and he couldn't even stand straight. He was hallucinating.

"Why don't you just...let them die?" Ivory said, provoking his anger. Vanessa smirked and stood up on her seat. She knew it was time for her to move. Rotchster laughed like crazy.

"Where? Why don't you let me see the insides of your body Ms. Silva? Maybe you can match them all," he whispered. He was possessed by a demon, that's how his own wife addresses him. Whenever he was hurting them, when he tried to kill all of them and cry after. When he successfully gave the sickness his children were suffering now and looked for a cure by killing people. He was insane, to the point where he handicapped his wife by slashing her feet and attempting to infect himself with the substances he was creating.

"Where is your child?" Ivory asked him, he glared at her. He indicated when he accepted the appointment that he would bring one of them.

"You guess it." His laughter was so loud that it made him feel like he was going to choke, but he didn't stop.

Vanessa, on the other hand, made her way inside his flat to the room where Rotchster's belongings are kept. She effortlessly went inside the apartment by slitting an opening device on the lock. Vanessa then goes in search of the kid Rotchster hid, and when she finds him, he is in a state that can make everyone puke in a heartbeat. One of the children's eyes was floating on his own blood while the other was on the floor of their living room.

Vanessa lowered her head and studied the child's blood and body.

"He was killed 5 hours ago," she said when she saw the state of the body. Ivory closed her eyes, hearing that made her blood boil. Rotchster wickedly smiled at her while holding a syringe. He ran and tried to grab her but she just simply avoided his attack, in a blink of an eye she was already on his back. She quickly grabbed his neck and made him face the window. A gun shot killed him right away. Ashleigh smirked while holding the sniper.

Ivory coldly stared at the man's dead body in front of her and looked around the room where Rotchster's decided to meet her a while ago. She can smell poison everywhere in the room except for the chair he offered, he was not really planning to kill her if she will just agree with him, but how can she do that if the kids he wanted to cure were already dead, and were already killed by him.

"There is something more in here," Vanessa spotted a drum inside the bathroom. She already saw the corpse of his wife and other two kids inside their own rooms but inside the bathroom is different, she can sense something there and when she opened the drum, it almost killed her stomach. It was a drum full of eyeballs and different organs of the body floating with the bloods of different people he killed. "This is insane."

"I'm coming," Ivory said, making her way to the room where her sister was.

Upon checking all the details, they contacted their agents along with the police to clean up the mess while they were doing an investigation on those victims he had killed by examining the bloods they found.

"I think we need to give this all to them now."

After three hours of investigating, Ashleigh finally stood up on her seat. She smiled while looking at her sisters, Vanessa raised her eyebrows at her, giving her a questioning face. Ashleigh smirked and raised her phone.

"I got a call from the department, 'they' were asking us to come." Just by emphasizing the word, the two already knew what was happening. Vanessa stood up and stretched her arms while Ivory took her gun and started fixing their things back.

"Why do they suddenly want us to come?" Vanessa asked, frowning. It's been a year since they saw them, the pack of their mother. Some of them remain loyal and killed those unfaithful ones. They survived, and are still fighting until now.

"Probably, they want to see us," Ivory stared at her sisters, four months from now they will become wolves. The ones that will continue the legacy of their pack. They had been in the shadow of their mafia organization, but because they are also the daughters of a Luna who was supposed to be the heir of the pack who unfortunately died in a battle, they needed to stand up for them, for their lives and for their mother.

Making their way back, the three of them couldn't stop thinking about what was going to happen. Their grandparents want to see them now, which means that they need to face the whole pack. They still don't know what their purpose will be, they have been in human battles. They don't even know what the wolves' habits are, and facing them will definitely give them an environment of shock. Being a half-blood will not be easy for them.

"Well, I missed grandma," Ashleigh mumbled and looked outside the car.

"And when you finally see her, you will definitely wish to leave them as soon as possible," Vanessa said.

"You just don't want to see auntie," Ashleigh's reply made her frown. It was true that she didn't want to see her auntie, her mother's younger sister who was currently holding the whole pack.

While the two of them were bickering at each other, Ivory's mind was on the day where her mother was killed. This moment was reminding her of that time, the story about that battle. She already knew what was the purpose of this coming gathering and she will gladly accept their mission if ever and knowing her sisters, they will have the same mind.

"I am worried," Andrius said, his daughters looking at him.

Ashleigh stood up on her seat and hugged her father.

"We will be okay there, we have been on many different missions. We promised not to be killed," she said. Andrius sighed, he knew that they can't just ignore the pack's invitation. They had been together with some wolves in their organization, but they were different.

"Just always remember, that they are not humans," he said, which made Vanessa laugh, followed by Ivory's smirk.

"I'm sorry dad, it was just funny that you were scared of them but you just easily accepted mom," Vanessa uttered. Andrius smiled upon remembering their first meeting. He was in the forest and being chased by the wolves but Xanthea saved him.

"They haunt me after that incident," he whispered.

"That's why we have to go right now," Ivory said as she drew the map through the mountain.

"Please be cautious."

They were aware that their father was concerned about them; dealing with the wolves would not provide him with the certainty that his daughters would be secure, but he had faith in Xanthea's parents, including her sister..

The helicopter they will use is ready, the agents will take them to the mountain where the whole pack has been residing ever since the fight ended.

Meeting the whole pack was giving them goosebumps, they are not normal people who they can easily fight with. They are the pack that their mother once trusted, and knowing that some of them betrayed their mother was giving them the urge to not give them their whole trust.

It was a dark and silent night, the helicopter landed on the mountain, their destination. The three of them examined the entire place. The place was so huge and dangerous as many wolves were living there, no human could go there except for those strong ones.

"Call us if you need help," Jake said, the one who took them to the mountain. They nodded at him and waited for him to leave the place before moving.

With the help of the moonlight they can still see the woods, but it's not yet five minutes when they heard those unusual sounds along with the red patches everywhere. They already knew they had arrived, and a large number of creatures were keeping an eye on them. The tension began to rise, they quickly took their weapons and pointed it at them, but a loud laugh stopped them from shooting.

"You didn't fail to amaze me, my granddaughters," a voice said. A second more of waiting they already saw the whole pack, it was them waiting for their arrival. An old woman stood up in front of the three, smiling as soon as she saw her granddaughters.

"Grandma..." Ashleigh muttered, making the head's attention diverted to her.

"It was nice seeing you, the youngest."

Seeing them kneeling down, the old she-wolf smiled. They remind her of her own daughter, she still misses her but knowing a mother's love, she understands her daughter's sacrifices for her own children. However, her face straightened remembering how her daughter was killed in front of her eyes. She just can't ignore the fact that she still has a mission to do. To help her granddaughters, the half-blooded trio that will reign and continue their pack's legacy.

Their story as wolves will begin, the prophecy about them will arise. From this day forward, the strongest wolves will be born.
