Looking between themselves as though I just made the most outrageous request in the universe , "okay " said joan with a tone of weak resolve . Turning to the table behind us , she picked a phone , and began dialing whom I supposed is Ace.

"Hello ,s-sir , good afternoon"

"Yes sir , just that your guests have arrived and , she insists on speaking to you first , I - , sorry sir , I would do that right away " she said ending the call immediately.

" He says you should settle down first , and he would be home by evening "
