Chapter 2

It wasn't long before i heard the carriage out front ready to take me away from the only life i knew into a life i knew nothing about, I wasn't going to wait around any longer though this was my chance i grabbed my sack only to bump into someone hard

"ouch " i squeaked out .  "You would think after getting punished so much you would be on your feet " i heard my friend lily say. Causing me to turn around in full speed giving her a bone crushing hug ,

" what are you doing here " i screeched out. 

it had been ages since I'd last seen my friend lily, Me and her we're known to do all of our sneaky little deeds with one another causing both of us to be sent away on punishments .

Last i had heard she was on a ship loading docks for 5 months to a year which was a very long time for a women of our age " okay so lily it doesn't matter they are finally letting me out " i said in desperation, 

by the look on her face i could tell this was no surprise to her but to me her knowing was.

" wait your going too " i yelled out also swinging around to yell at the guards in a accusing tone.

It wasn't long before the queen finally strolled up and along side her my father. I turned to look at lily but she had already snuck pass me into the carriage obviously to avoid the queen and of course my accusing  looks that i couldn't help but send her way.

"I see your still anything but a lady " my father said while strolling up towards the carriage near me .

If it wasn't for the queen sending me icy looks i would have laughed at this moment, who knew a father could finally bare to be near his daughter. 

"

That's alot for you to say huh father " i sneered, matching his glare just as powerful as I've ever done , " you will watch your tone with me servant you are and you never will be a daughter of mines " he yelled while snatching me up by my wrist.

I cried out in pain but also sadness not ready for the words coming out of his mouth. "It's time you've found out the truth about who you are, the trash you are or should i say what you are " he laughed at me wickedly ,

" what are you talking about " i yelled at him . I thrashed around in hopes of him letting my wrist go,

" your monster of a mother came from the north , the forbidden forest, what we call the waste " my father yelled out causing me to stop completely, I couldn't breathe from the power of devastation that was now clouding my mind. " YOUR LYING " i screamed out in a rage ,

he smirked at me obviously thrilled at the fact he had got a rise out of me. But also at the fact that he knew he could finally break me but with the truth,

" why would i lie ? , your mother was doomed from the moment she birthed a monster just like her in to think she thought i would take you in with open arms " he laughed in disgust ,

I could feel the tears falling down my face , i could still see lilly looking out the carriage at me in pity . For the first time ever i felt numb , like i had nobody . Nothing could matter at this point, i mean right ?

" your mother was part lycan but also part elemental she came from a past family of what we now call werewolves, but these were hybrids mixed with a power that the forbidden moon goddess was never supposed to tamper in "he snarled out " a power she had no right to take it belonged to the humans " he yelled out letting my wrist fall to the ground.

The shock i felt was nothing to the betrayal i felt the utter most outrage to what i was never told. I grew up my entire life believing i was weak or that i was never enough i lost everything only to find out that maybe i had a chance or a life that could have been , i wanted to tell my mother i could have saved her if only i had a chance.

" so what does that mean you're sending us back to there ? Why would they accept us , you forced us to live your ways , you killed my mother I'm guessing she's a trader now considering you're my father " i screamed at him . He smiled the most menacing smile i had ever seen . " well of course darling that's the point " The queen finally added .

" for years we have been looking for another option a way to obtain more power and finally get back what is ours  ,

we looked for spells , for openings anything. It wasn't until we found a prophecy the prophecy that told us who you were, your mother and it spoke of you meeting your mate " the queen smirked while walking around the king to look down at me.

" we finally found a loophole and now that we know it we have the upperhand " she smirked "but that's not all " she sang teasingly, the breath that i was holding in was getting so much easier to attain especially with all this information

" we know how you like to not follow the rules Veronica so we have something very dear to you that we know will make you listen " she said pointing towards the guards , i squinted my eyes but it wasn't hard to see the guards carrying someone but not just that someone that I thought i would never see again.

" MOMM" i yelled running towards her " how is this possible " i whispered into her hair while hugging her , I couldn't help the tears running down my face this time in happiness not the anger that i still harbored towards my father. She looked dehydrated, drained probably from lack of sleep but she also looked drained from the life being taken out of her,

" what have you done to her i said trying to get ahold of my father . " i would watch what you do " the queen said making a movement for the guards to grab me,

All i could do was stare accusingly at them , i just couldn't understand why they were doing this

"when we realized your mother didn't die from a illness we made for her to die , we figured out who she really was and where she came from . When we found her on our land we thought she was a measly servant not a spy sent here from the north to get details on when our next hunt would be " she said walking around me .

" you see she opened our eyes to the truth not to mention her mate was my husband " the queen said in disgust. There was that one word again that made my entire body feel like it was on fire

" what's a mate " i finally spoke in confusion . " and why are you doing this , please just let us go " i screamed in desperation.

" oh trust me you will find out " she sneered ,

" but for now you will follow anything we tell you to do we will send lily with you as a spy to make sure you do exactly as we say or else we will make sure your mother is really dead this time, and trust me we also have things on our side that not even you monsters can handle " she said in a final tone,

Knowing this could possibly be my last moment with her i tried fighting out of the hands of the guards hoping for one last glance , one moment of hope that maybe i would see her again.

" please I'll do anything " i cried trying to stop the guards from shoving me inside the carriage, the guard managed to twist my arm behind my back and Shoved me across from lily. I kicked, I screamed, I tried to gain whatever power they claimed i had within me but nothing could get me to my mother.

With one last glance the queen smiled " then do as i say " the queen said signaling the guard to shut me up.

         leaving me in complete darkness.
