Zekiel’s Pov

From the day i was born my mother always told me i was a fireball, but she never knew at the age of fifteen that i would become not only the first of our kind to attain the power of fire but the only of our kind that didn't shift into a lycan but instead some type of hybrid of a hellhound and a werewolf but also coming with the ability to manipulate fire. some called it a gift but to me it was a burden no matter where i went my entire life I've been one big ball that people just can't seem to understand, It also didn't help that i could care less to help them understand either.

I've been alpha of my pack since i was sixteen that was about the time when the last war between the humans in the forbidden had last happened, also the last time my father stood as alpha . That was the day they stripped his title by death and because of my duty as the next in line as Alpha i was forced to take over , some gift huh , if only it had saved my father.

" Alpha " my beta Jonathan called interrupting me out of my angry thoughts, I could tell by the frustrated look on his face that whatever he had to say couldn't be good.

" what have you done now Jonathan" i growled out , don't get me wrong he's my beta and he was definitely my only friend but sometimes he could get him and me in alot of mess.

" trust me i wish this was me but it's not , something is up with gloria she's been having visions since around five this morning , she won't stop demanding that you come " he yelled out raising his hands showing me he meant business.

" take me to her now " i said tightly, he left no time to waste within seconds he had lead me to our temple.

Gloria had been our only seer for years since she tumbled onto our lands, she said she had traveled from the islands with just her and her daughter when the humans slaughtered all of her people, she was a kind women so my father took her in from then on she has protected my family from any unseen future's, and it was my duty as alpha of this pack to make sure no harm came to her , just as she would do us.

" gloria " i cried out rushing to her side, My mother sat not to far from her with tears running down her eyes ,

gloria was practically a best friend to her and a great aunt to me.

" son something isn't right , she hasn't had a vision in years since she came unto our lands " my mother cried out desperately grasping Gloria's hands.

I turned to look at gloria to see her staring at me intentionally with all of her energy

" tell me gloria how can we help you " i said desperately. "Find her "she said shakily"

" thank you for saving me and showing me that i could have a family again" she said weakly looking at all of us in pain.

I couldn't understand what she meant , who is she , and what could she mean by find her

"I don't understand find who gloria " i said grabbing her hand.

" you will know when you find her you need to go now " she rushed out gasping for her breath

" please help her " my mother screamed at our healer maverick.

" what else can we do, she's our family she has a daughter she's away on a pick up maybe she knows something to help her mother maybe a old remedy I don't know but we will figure this out " i said ordering the healer to do anything he could to lessen whatever pain gloria was going through until we could figure this out.

" I'll do what i can do Alpha but this is not a medical issue that i can just fix, this is supernatural I believe that whatever vision gloria had has somehow allowed her mind to start eating at her body from the inside out almost as if she was poisoned from whatever dark magic that was used inside of her vision " Maverick explained trying to help me understand how deep this matter actually was.

" okay no worries i will get on this just please let me know if anything new pops up i need to keep track of this oh and if she mentions that girl tell me right away " I ordered to Maverick before signaling to Jonathan to follow me to the pack house.

" so what do you think about the girl she mentioned" Jonathan questioned the moment we made it back to the training grounds.

" I don't know but something tells me things are about to get bad " i said crossing my arms pausing for a moment.

" i need you to do something for me " i said looking at Jonathan. He stopped walking to turn around in listen to me " I'm your beta i would die for you stop beating around the bush what's wrong " he said instantly.

" I haven't shifted in awhile and i might lose control again i need you to promise that if shit goes left you will handle it as my beta and not as my best friend " i said sternly.

" pshhh look dude if you're asking me to kill you I'll do it in my sleep i still haven't forgot how you ate my last slice of pizza " he joked , but i could tell behind the laughter he knew i was serious.

" just give me your word " i said tightly, it wasn't that I didn't believe him it's that i knew him and deep down We both knew this subject has always been touchy for him we was practically brothers he lost his entire family, i had my mother all he had was me.

" i need your word Jonathan " i repeated again waiting for his answer.

" fine you have my word " he said walking towards the forest. The pack house was around 5 minutes from where gloria stayed in that was just walking in normal speed , using my powers from my beast i could make it there in less than a minute.

We had a okay size pack that consisted of warriors, wolves, elementals and a few vampires who signed a alliance. But we were powerful in all the right areas and most importantly family

Walking up to the pack house , seeing the people I've been around my entire life I couldn't help but get defensive to anything that may come. I didn't know what to trust or what we were up against i just knew we couldn't take Gloria's warning lightly.

" Jonathan before we call this meeting i want you to take a few guards in do a perimeter check , I don't know maybe its my intuition but somethings off " i said concentrating. Even my beast was off , he was anxious and on edge

" mind link me if you catch anything suspicious " i said,

i got ready to head inside the pack house in up the stairs into my office once i saw that Jonathan nodded his head in acknowledgement.

I needed to check with the other packs to make sure nobody has crossed the boundary line into the forest.

All i could think about was who was this girl that gloria spoke of and why was she so important, why did i need to find her.

Something about finding her thrilled my beast in for a moment I couldn't help but wonder if maybe she was the one I've been hoping for, my other half, My mate.
