CHAPTER 14

Beach.

I parked the car on a vacant lot next to the beach guardhouse and proceeded to check in too. I can hear on my back the sound of Skylar's closing the door. The whole ride was honestly so quiet, maybe because he is angry that he bump his head or something, although Skylar is really silent most of the time.

"Kindly sign your name here, Miss." The attendant said. I told what is told and quickly glance at my back. Skylar was at my back, both of his hands on his pocket.

I proceeded to go in and sit on a bench after he also checked in the beach counter area. I kept thinking about what happen to Skylar and to that guy earlier. What was it though?
