Theo threw a piece of the shirt at her. Not particularly her shirt, she sensed. Touching the silk she could feel it. Bringing it closer to her eyes she knew it was a black shirt.
“Wear it,” Theo muttered, getting a leather electric shock collar for her neck. He sighed, watching her wearing the shirt.
He walked towards her and pulled her neck close. Putting the collar around her neck, “Drake has a dragon tattoo on the left side of his neck. Short curly hairs. Black framed specs. Dark brown eyes.”
“Okay.” She whispered, biting her lip at the pinch of the collar tightening at her skin.
“Carson Meyer is the person you are sold to. Again dark brown eyes, no specs, and straight jet black hair. They are short though. And you already have their voices recognized if I’m not wrong, right?” Theo turned around, with the blindfolds.
“Yes, Theo.” She replied, keeping her voice low. Most probably because she couldn’t speak boldly by the fact that she is sold to someone who will kill her on just the suspicion of her deceiving him.
“Good. I don’t know about the other men, he might make you meet. So it’s all on you. And trust me he will kill you if he gets a hint of you being blind. So never, not even by accident let anyone find that truth behind these beautiful eyes. You understand?” He growled, grabbing her chin, harshly.
“Y…Yes, Sir.” She stuttered, her tears threatened to let them flow. But she was strong enough not to cry.
Suddenly the door opened and there they were again. Carson and Drake, are ready to take their purchase out of the house. Carson stared at her, lowered her head, even when she was blindfolded.
He sighed, “Getting her ready, you meant this?” He asked Theo, giving him a dead look.
Theo gulped, glancing at Drake, who he was sure was not gonna help him understand what Carson meant.
“Ehm… I’ll get her a jacket as well?” Theo thought he meant the same as before, maybe a shirt wasn’t good enough.
“He means the blindfold and that stupid collar. She is not a dog.” Drake said, pinching his nose, fixing his glasses.
“Oh, sure. I’ll remove the blindfold.” Theo muttered and got the blindfolds off of her. “But the collar can’t be removed. It’s the policy of the purchase, Sir.”
Carson and Drake stared at him as if they would rip him apart if he didn’t take it off. The awkward silence was enough to make him tremble to death. He could sense his soul shivering inside his skin.
“Excuse me, Sir. We are really sorry. But we are just following the orders from the above.” Julie entered just in time to save Theo’s ass.
“Take her in the car, Drake.” Carson ignored Julie’s interruption. Drake is always following Carson’s orders. Walked over to Luna.
“Let’s go.” He whispered, giving her his hand. Making a gesture for her to follow him.
“Here, Sir. The collar can only be removed after two shocks simultaneously. No worries, it won’t do too much harm to the pur…. Girl.” Julie awkwardly chuckled, seeing his jaw clenched.
“The contract?” Carson asked, Julie, didn’t take a second to hand it over.
Luna followed Drake’s lead. She didn’t really have any idea of the paths out of this auction house. As she has never been out of there before.
“Hold on. There is a car ahead.” Drake muttered, stopping her from walking foolishly on the busy road.
Luna was startled to hear that. It sounded like he knew she is blind but he didn't react too much to it. As if he knowingly let it go. Drake opened the car door for her and led her inside.
“There is water beside the seat if you need it.” He said, before closing the door.
“He would have given me the bottle if he knew.” Luna shook her head, clearing out her stupid thoughts. There is no chance anyone would know. She wasn't even ever taken to the hospital before to get tested for blindness.
Suddenly the other door of the car opened. Her heart skipped a beat when someone entered the car. To what she could interpret was he was wearing black and had something sparkly on his hand.
“Take the back route. I don’t want anyone to see her with that thing around her neck.” Carson spoke in his heavy crusty voice.
‘At least his voice sounds young and sexy.’ Luna thought to herself, ‘But this will be the same sound I will hear before the gunshot.’ She frowned at that thought.
Carson looked over his shoulder. Seeing her frowning wasn’t an ideal thing he would expect. But he didn’t care much either way. She can be sad as much as she wants to.
Soon they reach the mansion. The car stopped, Luna moved her head. Not sure what to do now. Carson quickly got out of the car as soon as Drake opened the door for him.
When he glanced over the other side. He saw the driver already opened the door for Luna but she hasn’t gotten out.
“Would you like an invite to get out of the car?” Carson raised his brow, waiting for her to get out. Having patience for these petty things is what he is exactly worst at.
“I’m sorry.” She whispered, getting out. Touching the car to figure out the way she should go.
“I’ll get her. You should go first.” Drake said, watching her, trying to walk with trembling legs.
Carson nodded and walked away. Drake moved over to catch up with Luna. He took her hand gently and started to walk their way to her room. It felt like he was actually guiding him without knowing she needed it.
“That’s your bed and that’s uhm... Your closet on the left and on the right is the bathroom. Everything you might need, you may find in the closet and if not then there is the guy just out your room, tell him. And yeah, you are not supposed to walk around the mansion. Don’t even think about running away.” Drake warned her clearly.
‘As if I won’t!’ She huffed in her head. She was right, any normal human would want to keep their distance from the mafia. Why won’t they?
“Any questions?” Drake asked, raising his brows, pinching his nose.
She sighs, gulping down, “Ehm… Is he going to sleep with me?” She asks, innocently.
“Huh?! Who?” Drake wasn’t really sure what she was trying to say.
“Mr. Meyer.” She muttered out, compressing her lips.
“Uhh..” Drake stares at her before answering, “No.” He told her but even he wasn’t sure of that yet.
“Okay.” She replied, getting a bit relieved.
“I hope not.” He muttered under his breath.
“What?” She stared straight into his eyes. He was startled for a second but got in phase soon.
“Nothing. Change your clothes.” He flashed a quick smile and left the room before uttering too much.
“Mr. Meyer?” Drake was taken aback by Carson standing outside of Luna’s room. “What are you doing here?” Drake asked, narrowing his eyes.
“To see her.” Carson wasn’t sure why he needed to answer Drake but he did anyway.
“Oh!” Drake nodded, not stepping aside from the door. Carson kept staring at Drake behaving too weird to be himself. “Oh! I’m sorry,” Drake quickly stepped away after realizing.
Luna stopped midway from going over to the closet. She stood holding onto the wall as she was finding her way. She turned in the direction she heard the noise coming.
“What are you doing?” Carson asked, sliding his hands into his pockets. It was weird to see her clung to a wall.
“I…” She remembers his voice, “I was actually getting to the closet. Mr. Drake told me to change my clothes.” She replies, keeping a weak smile on her face.
Carson saw her legs trembling and her voice breaking. He started to kind of enjoy the power he was feeling. Even though she used to keep her head low in front of him, he can make her lookup.
“I do have something I want you to try on,” Carson smirked, realizing how he should be toying with her. She isn’t just a hooker who can raise her rights to him.
She is his own property now. He gave up three million bucks for her. She should do this much at least.
“I… Okay.” She kept standing still where she was. Carson moved over to the closet and took out some weird lingeries of black and red type. He thought she would look hot in those.
“Try these.” He threw both the lingeries at her which she somehow caught. She felt the clothes and realized what they were.
Lingeries and thongs. She gulped down feeling the sheer belt. Is he trying to get her naked and fuck her just when he bought her? What else was she thinking? Getting a Princess Diana treatment?
Luna sighs and starts to find the bathroom to get changed.“Change here.” He demanded, sending shivers down her spine. Even a simple hiss from his mouth was enough to make her worry to hell.“I…” She blinked rapidly, not knowing what to do. Keeping her head lower, “I don’t feel comfortable…” She whispered exactly what she shouldn’t and she knew that.“Did I buy you to comfort you?” He raised his brow. The only thing he finds annoying about Luna is how she keeps lowering her eyes, rather than looking at him.“I’m sorry.” She mumbled, tightly holding onto the lingeries. Her heart almost went into her thr
The pinch of pain ran through her head. Slowly and gently she opened her eyes but still did not see anything, more like blurred bright surroundings in the three-meter radius. She gulped down harder and hissed, feeling the sting on her neck. Suddenly she remembered what happened. ‘This collar.’ She touched it gently with her fingertips and realized it was electrified. “Pretty smart moves, huh?!” A cold harsh voice echoed in the room. Shivers ran down her whole body. She knew she fucked it up. He would surely kill her for even trying to get out of that room. Abruptly, she straightened her back. Hissing with the pain, still. Carson sighed, watching her struggling. ‘She sure is a lot of work.’ He thought to himself, approaching her. &
“We are here,” Drake remarked, entering the biggest room in the mansion. Unfortunately, Luna can’t notice that though. “I’ll show you around.” He smiled softly, offering his hand to her.For a moment it was weird for him to offer a hand. ‘Does he know my weakness?’ She thought and a series of quivers ran under her skin. She can’t even imagine what will happen if someone finds out that she is blind.“I’ll walk by myself. Thank you.” Luna hesitated, she really didn’t want to get caught in the act.Drake sighed and took her hand by surprise. Slowly and at a gentle pace, he moved around the room, letting her take her time to adjust. He didn’t mind her touching the
“I think you should see a doctor as well.” Carson was worried about drake. It was clear in his eyes. For a moment Drake stood frozen at his spot. That worry which he never had before was suddenly back. He could feel that old friend he missed in him for so long. Why suddenly was he worried? He never cared once when Drake got shot three times in his arms and legs.“Uhm… I don’t think it’s that severe though.” Drake felt a bit uneasy with the sudden change. It’s true that sudden changes even if those are of love and care will feel uncomfortable and unreliable at the beginning.Carson sensed the discomfort and took his hand away. “Yeah alright.” His temples twitched and he opened the doo
A sigh escaped his mouth when he reached by car. Glancing back at the door, he despised himself for some reason. Looking around he put his Ipad on the car and took out a cigarette, lighting it up. Drake fell deep into his memories of her. The first time he saw her was just like a ray of sunshine in that piggsy dungeon place named a human auction house. She was sparkling in the dark, her smile when their eyes met, still flutters his heart. ‘You dirtsy bitch!! Mop it up quickly. I don’t want to see old faggots semen all over the place.’ A woman who seemed like a bossy type, smacked her head while running to the other side. The smile on the girl’s face vanished which made Drake’s heart sink into sorrow. His rage against that place overgrew. He just wanted to get that girl out of there somehow. So he tried to talk it out of her. But seeing her walking towards him, he couldn’t move a bit. Just like he was frozen in time and space. ‘Oh!!’ She bumped into him. ‘I’m sorry. I couldn’t
“Grand entrance as always.” Top huffed, shaking his head watching Carson coming over. “That piece of shit needed that much.” Greg seemed annoyed and so done with it. That took Carson’s attention. But he knew what it could be. “How did the announcement go?” Carson asked, adjusting his suit while taking a seat. Drake pinched the tip of his nose, sitting beside Carson. “Same old Italian shit! I can’t be with him. Apparently, it hurts his mafia pride. A son being gay in mafia ain’t acceptable.” Top sighed, remembering his father’s clear words. Pouring wine for Carson and Drake. “It’s okay, babe. I’m not leaving you.” Greg snickered, pecking his lips. Top blinked, giving him a tight smile, agreeing with him. “I’ll be right back,” Greg whispered, rushing to the restroom. Watching him go, Top’s expressions changed from being awfully happy to sorrow and uncertainty. Carson and Top have been friends for years now. From business partners to friends, it wasn’t that hard. Drake would just fi
“Get me everything on Yakim,” Carson ordered walking toward the car while Drake followed him behind. “Everything dirty or corrupted you mean?” Drake was just making sure of Carson's orders. “You dumbass! How many years has it been and you still gotta ask that. Everything means everything. Even his fucking family.” Carson Spat out at Drake, growling with an unknown irritation at seeing Yakim’s face on his property. ‘I feared this day would come. Does he really need to go to such lengths? I gotta talk to Mr.Russell before he does something foolish. He needs to learn that we don’t hurt women and children.’ Drake went deep into his thoughts about how scary and heartless Carson was getting day by day without missing any. “Are you gonna drive or sleep?” Carson glared in the mirror at Drake. Without uttering a single word, Drake drove off. “Turn left. Go to the East warehouse.” Carson calmly ordered, deeply reading something on the tablet he was holding. Drake glanced in the mirror,
‘He has finally reached the limits. All I can now see in his eyes is death and nothing else. How could it be? The kid I used to play with. The one who used to defy killing over anything or anyone. How could he just kill the woman who raised him when he was left all alone. How could he be so heartless?’ Drake cursed himself for letting her fall over into his arms. She doesn’t deserve a man like him. She deserves better. “What have I done?” Drake growled, punching his head in frustration. Tears of relentlessness flowed down his cheeks. He regretted doing what he did. All of it. “Drake!” A man rushed inside the room where Drake was kept as ordered by Carson. “Boss wants you to come down soon. He has to get going.” “Who the fuck are you?” Drake rolled his eyes, fixing his tie and wearing his shoes. “Oh me! I'm a chore boy here.” The guy smiled, showing all of his nasty teeth and chewing the meat he had in his hands. “Chore boy? And you dare to talk to me casually?” Drake sighed
