Luna sighs and starts to find the bathroom to get changed.
“Change here.” He demanded, sending shivers down her spine. Even a simple hiss from his mouth was enough to make her worry to hell.
“I…” She blinked rapidly, not knowing what to do. Keeping her head lower, “I don’t feel comfortable…” She whispered exactly what she shouldn’t and she knew that.
“Did I buy you to comfort you?” He raised his brow. The only thing he finds annoying about Luna is how she keeps lowering her eyes, rather than looking at him.
“I’m sorry.” She mumbled, tightly holding onto the lingeries. Her heart almost went into her throat while trying to argue with someone who would literally kill her without any remorse.
“About what?” He asked, sighing, rubbing his temples, “Fine, make it a quick run or I might come in there and make you wear it myself.” He warned her.
She raised her head, “Y…Yes sir..” She stuttered, quickly walking towards the bathroom with the help of the wall.
He watched her walking like her legs would fall out. Scoffing, “What did I even buy?” He muttered to himself, before resting himself on her bed.
Luna took five minutes to figure out the lingerie and wear it properly. But she still wasn’t sure if she wore it correctly or not. Plus, her collar was giving her a hard time breathing properly.
She walked out of the bathroom. Dressed properly in those revealing thongs. She wasn’t used to them much. She walked over to Carson, timidly. Trying to cover her skin with her hands as much as possible.
Carson was too stunned to utter a word. She sure was something. He didn’t think she would look so hot in those thongs. But she does. Now he knows exactly what he bought.
Her innocence wasn’t much help. A sudden erection he felt at the sight of her was something new. He has never felt anything like that before. She feels so different from any woman he has ever met before.
‘She is hella tempting.’ A sudden thought ran through his mind, subconsciously. He shook his head slightly. Brushing the stupid thought away.
“Come here.” He indicated to his lap. Luna wasn’t sure what he asked for. Somehow she went closer and stood beside him.
He sighed, pulling her from her wrist, making her fall into his lap. “It sure was a good investment.” He muttered into her ear.
She was taken aback by that. What the hell does he mean? ‘Am I an object to him? So what he said at the auction house, was he pretending all along?’
Suddenly she felt a palm on one of her breasts. Without thinking twice, her instincts worked up, slapping Carson across his face. It sure was a hard slap for him to even let it pass.
His jaw clenched. She covered her mouth in disbelief at what she had just done. ‘Fuck!’ She cursed herself. A drop of tear rushed down her cheek. She knew she was dead meat now.
“You fucking bitch!” He growled, grabbing her chin. Not letting her stand up from his lap though.
“I... I’m sorry.” Her voice shows a clear hint of how terrified she was.
“You sure are.” His voice shows no hint of mercy.
Before he could do anything to her. A knock on the door took away his attention but not his eyes from her.
“Boss, It’s code red!” Drake shouted outside of the door. He knew his limits not to open the door. Since he has worked with him for too long to not know anything about him.
“You are lucky.” Carson smirked, “But not for too long.” He threw her on the bed and stood up, fixing his clothes, “See you tonight, little feisty kitten.” His evil grin which she obviously couldn’t see but can guess.
He walked away after literally giving her a heart attack. All she could do was lay on the bed and curse herself for being so stupid to slap a mafia heir. She was sure she would be dead tonight.
“What is it?” Carson put on his icy jerk face and walked through the halls with Drake beside him.
Drake opened his tab which he usually keeps along, “Russians.” He just needed to use the keywords to make Carson understand the situation.
“Have you got the blueprint yet?” Carson asked, rushing towards the meeting room where everyone else of higher ranks including his father was waiting for him.
“Will be here in two days,” Drake replied, pinching his specs and glancing back at the door of Luna’s room.
Carson suddenly stopped in front of the door of the meeting room. His hand rested on the handle without opening it. He kept staring at it. Until Drake got confused.
“Is there a problem?” Drake asked, roughly scared.
“Get her into my room tonight,” Carson uttered out, glancing at Drake.
“Who?” Drake acted foolishly dumb, raising his brows.
“The one I bought. She needs to learn her lessons before she gets on the lose.” Carson looked serious with that small yet horrifying smirk on his face.
“But didn’t you just buy her to marry you? Don’t you think spending a night with her like that would not be….” Before Drake could say anything any further, Carson interrupted.
“Am I your boss or are you mine?” Carson’s hand flew straight from the handle of the door to Drake’s neck, “Don’t you ever question my orders again. Got that?” Carson raised his brow.
“Yes, boss.” Drake was already used to this kind of treatment. He never got angry or stood against him for this. Because he knows why Carson has a heart of stone. He doesn’t care what the world says about him, he knows his childhood friend better than society.
“Let’s go then.” Carson left his collar and rushed inside the room. His father and all others stared at him as if he was the elite of the meeting.
Actually, he was. Russians were causing trouble because Carson won’t let them do their business peacefully. As they won’t let him do it smoothly.
“You got some explanation of what is going on?” Russell, Carson’s father said, making a weird face of disappointment.
Carson knitted his brow in confusion, “What’s so complicated about it? Russians were always the problem.” Carson simply slid his lines.
“We worked with Yakim for so long without any problem. Suddenly he is furious enough to take on a war with us.” The third division boss huffed.
Carson chuckled without bothering to reply to him. He took the file in front of him and started to read it.
“Boss, Yakim is the only trustworthy person we have been doing good business with. I don’t think your son is up to the knowledge of how this association works.” The second division boss added some spark to the fire.
Carson grabbed the glass of water and took a sip. He pretended to be reading the file while hearing the accusations against him. His father listened to all of them while keeping his eyes still on his son.
After the silence fell in the room. Everyone was over with every accusation. Russell cleared his throat.
“When are you finding a girl to get married to?” Russell asks Carson a question, completely out of the topic everyone was discussing. All the leaders stared at him in disbelief.
Carson glanced over at his father, “Already found one.”
“Did you force her?” His father knew him from inside out completely. At Least what he thought.
“Not exactly.” He replied.
“What did he do?” His father surely wasn’t having it. He turned to Drake. Drake usually gets cold feet when Russell asks questions to him. But Russell is far better than Carson.
“He actually…” Drake was trying to come up with a good excuse.
“It was his idea.” Carson did want Drake to get in trouble. Although Drake used to be his best friend. But Carson doesn't want him close anymore. Which is against Drake and Russell’s mindset.
Drake narrowed his eyes at Carson, who was smirking evilly, “To get him a girlfriend.” It was fortunate for Drake that he was intelligent.
“Huh!” Carson rolled his eyes at Drake.
“You got him a girlfriend? Did she willingly agree to be his girlfriend?” His father knew something wasn’t right. How could someone agree to be his son’s girlfriend?
“Uh… Yeah. She does.” Drake chuckled, awkwardly.
“Boss!” The third division leader was fed up with their stupid irrelevant conversation.
“Carson.” Russell rested his back on his chair, waiting for him to explain them. Russell doesn’t have any doubts about his son in the matter of business.
“Drake!” Carson signaled him to turn on the projector. Drake nodded and did.
“See here.” The slides of pictures where Yakim was taking bribes from the Italian mafia and providing them with some important contractual information.
The third division boss huffed, “What are we looking at? Yakim doing his business?” He rolled his eyes.
“Uhuh. I guess we can say that. He is peacefully doing a smooth business of selling our contractual information to the Italian mafia while accepting bribes. Next here I guess, he is doing a smooth business of looting our products and selling in his name. You might actually recognize that truck. Doesn’t this one come under your division which you got invaded by the police on its way?” Carson raised his brow, tilting his head slightly. Making a cute face, embarrassing the third division boss.
“So Yakim followers, he was stealing from you for years and all you were doing was trust on your stupid friendship instincts?” He asked, glaring at all the division's bosses. Everyone lowered their heads in shame.
“Did you know about this?” The first division boss muttered. The second division boss shook his head.
“How can you know with that dumb mind?” Carson scoffed, “I’m not surprised though.”
“Anyone has anything else to question my son on his business abilities?” Russell asked, shouting at everyone. No one dares to utter a single word.
“Well, then I have some other business to take care of. Enjoy your time gentlemen.” Carson stretched his coat and nodded before making his way out of the room.
“I want to meet the girl this weekend and no excuses,” Russell said before leaving the room from the other side.
Carson rolled his eyes and got out of the room. “What’s the schedule?” He asked Drake.
“We have to check on two offside clubs. They are having unusual drug activities which we didn’t approve of.” Drake just told him his next stop and not all of them. He knows how Carson's mind processes.
Luna’s eyes were swollen, filled with terror and tears. All she could think about was her last night. She changed her clothes into a proper dress but she couldn’t find any shoes.
Time kept passing and no one was coming for her. She thought she had enough of her miserable life and this is her only chance to getaway. As she cannot take the collar off, she kept it either way.
Slowly she walked over to the door and put her ear on it to hear if there was someone outside the room or not.
“Sir?” She called, “Is anyone there?” She called again but there was no answer. She took in a courageous breath and opened the door.
Luckily it was unlocked, no one was stopping her and she couldn’t sense anyone around. She already knows the way out of the mansion. She counted each and every step when she came in.
It was imprinted on her mind. She followed the route back and got up to the back door. The sudden cold air hit her face and she knew she was out. A smile crept on her face.
She took a step to cross the door but a sudden shock of electricity ran through her neck down to her body. As if the lightning has struck at her.
She fell to the ground. Soon she was unconscious.
The pinch of pain ran through her head. Slowly and gently she opened her eyes but still did not see anything, more like blurred bright surroundings in the three-meter radius. She gulped down harder and hissed, feeling the sting on her neck. Suddenly she remembered what happened. ‘This collar.’ She touched it gently with her fingertips and realized it was electrified. “Pretty smart moves, huh?!” A cold harsh voice echoed in the room. Shivers ran down her whole body. She knew she fucked it up. He would surely kill her for even trying to get out of that room. Abruptly, she straightened her back. Hissing with the pain, still. Carson sighed, watching her struggling. ‘She sure is a lot of work.’ He thought to himself, approaching her. &
“We are here,” Drake remarked, entering the biggest room in the mansion. Unfortunately, Luna can’t notice that though. “I’ll show you around.” He smiled softly, offering his hand to her.For a moment it was weird for him to offer a hand. ‘Does he know my weakness?’ She thought and a series of quivers ran under her skin. She can’t even imagine what will happen if someone finds out that she is blind.“I’ll walk by myself. Thank you.” Luna hesitated, she really didn’t want to get caught in the act.Drake sighed and took her hand by surprise. Slowly and at a gentle pace, he moved around the room, letting her take her time to adjust. He didn’t mind her touching the
“I think you should see a doctor as well.” Carson was worried about drake. It was clear in his eyes. For a moment Drake stood frozen at his spot. That worry which he never had before was suddenly back. He could feel that old friend he missed in him for so long. Why suddenly was he worried? He never cared once when Drake got shot three times in his arms and legs.“Uhm… I don’t think it’s that severe though.” Drake felt a bit uneasy with the sudden change. It’s true that sudden changes even if those are of love and care will feel uncomfortable and unreliable at the beginning.Carson sensed the discomfort and took his hand away. “Yeah alright.” His temples twitched and he opened the doo
A sigh escaped his mouth when he reached by car. Glancing back at the door, he despised himself for some reason. Looking around he put his Ipad on the car and took out a cigarette, lighting it up. Drake fell deep into his memories of her. The first time he saw her was just like a ray of sunshine in that piggsy dungeon place named a human auction house. She was sparkling in the dark, her smile when their eyes met, still flutters his heart. ‘You dirtsy bitch!! Mop it up quickly. I don’t want to see old faggots semen all over the place.’ A woman who seemed like a bossy type, smacked her head while running to the other side. The smile on the girl’s face vanished which made Drake’s heart sink into sorrow. His rage against that place overgrew. He just wanted to get that girl out of there somehow. So he tried to talk it out of her. But seeing her walking towards him, he couldn’t move a bit. Just like he was frozen in time and space. ‘Oh!!’ She bumped into him. ‘I’m sorry. I couldn’t
“Grand entrance as always.” Top huffed, shaking his head watching Carson coming over. “That piece of shit needed that much.” Greg seemed annoyed and so done with it. That took Carson’s attention. But he knew what it could be. “How did the announcement go?” Carson asked, adjusting his suit while taking a seat. Drake pinched the tip of his nose, sitting beside Carson. “Same old Italian shit! I can’t be with him. Apparently, it hurts his mafia pride. A son being gay in mafia ain’t acceptable.” Top sighed, remembering his father’s clear words. Pouring wine for Carson and Drake. “It’s okay, babe. I’m not leaving you.” Greg snickered, pecking his lips. Top blinked, giving him a tight smile, agreeing with him. “I’ll be right back,” Greg whispered, rushing to the restroom. Watching him go, Top’s expressions changed from being awfully happy to sorrow and uncertainty. Carson and Top have been friends for years now. From business partners to friends, it wasn’t that hard. Drake would just fi
“Get me everything on Yakim,” Carson ordered walking toward the car while Drake followed him behind. “Everything dirty or corrupted you mean?” Drake was just making sure of Carson's orders. “You dumbass! How many years has it been and you still gotta ask that. Everything means everything. Even his fucking family.” Carson Spat out at Drake, growling with an unknown irritation at seeing Yakim’s face on his property. ‘I feared this day would come. Does he really need to go to such lengths? I gotta talk to Mr.Russell before he does something foolish. He needs to learn that we don’t hurt women and children.’ Drake went deep into his thoughts about how scary and heartless Carson was getting day by day without missing any. “Are you gonna drive or sleep?” Carson glared in the mirror at Drake. Without uttering a single word, Drake drove off. “Turn left. Go to the East warehouse.” Carson calmly ordered, deeply reading something on the tablet he was holding. Drake glanced in the mirror,
‘He has finally reached the limits. All I can now see in his eyes is death and nothing else. How could it be? The kid I used to play with. The one who used to defy killing over anything or anyone. How could he just kill the woman who raised him when he was left all alone. How could he be so heartless?’ Drake cursed himself for letting her fall over into his arms. She doesn’t deserve a man like him. She deserves better. “What have I done?” Drake growled, punching his head in frustration. Tears of relentlessness flowed down his cheeks. He regretted doing what he did. All of it. “Drake!” A man rushed inside the room where Drake was kept as ordered by Carson. “Boss wants you to come down soon. He has to get going.” “Who the fuck are you?” Drake rolled his eyes, fixing his tie and wearing his shoes. “Oh me! I'm a chore boy here.” The guy smiled, showing all of his nasty teeth and chewing the meat he had in his hands. “Chore boy? And you dare to talk to me casually?” Drake sighed
“Dispatch everyone to cover the mansion. Don’t let a single fly out of this place. You hear me!” Carson grunted, squinching his eyes. The anger in his voice sent shivers down Drake’s spine. “Yes, Sir. Right away.” Drake said and rushed out ordering everyone to cover around the mansion. “Mommy!” Carl opened his eyes, finding himself on his bed while his mother was in the bathroom. He could only hear her scowling the pain in her heart through those doors. A big frown dwells up on his face not understanding what was happening to his mother. So he decided to step out of the room. “Huh?” Suddenly he was startled to see many guards running around crazily, shouting at each other, ‘Find the girl! Quick!’“I need some water.” Carl sighed, ignoring the rush he went straight to the kitchen. Which was, however, empty. Not even the maids were there. “Ugh! I can’t reach it.” He groaned trying to reach up the table to get the glass. In his sudden attempts, he ended up throwing the glass on the
