“I think you should see a doctor as well.” Carson was worried about drake. It was clear in his eyes. For a moment Drake stood frozen at his spot.
That worry which he never had before was suddenly back. He could feel that old friend he missed in him for so long. Why suddenly was he worried? He never cared once when Drake got shot three times in his arms and legs.
“Uhm… I don’t think it’s that severe though.” Drake felt a bit uneasy with the sudden change. It’s true that sudden changes even if those are of love and care will feel uncomfortable and unreliable at the beginning.
Carson sensed the discomfort and took his hand away. “Yeah alright.” His temples twitched and he opened the door stepping inside the room.
‘Is this uneasiness gonna be over tonight.’ Carson sighed in his head, seeing Luna’s eyes were set on him. He didn’t want her to know how he felt around her.
Without uttering a single word, he left to wash up. Luna was getting anxious to know what would happen next.
Soon enough Carson got out of the bathroom. In a loose robe, with a towel in hand, drying his hair. The water dripped down his hair on his revealed chest.
What else could be hotter than the most dangerous and hottest mafia heir? It was almost as if Luna had got a fortune cookie but the fortune was still concealed with hope and fear.
His eyes rested on her. It was so clear how she was fidgeting with her fingers and biting her lips again and again. She was nervous. Scared. Anxious.
A little playful smirk formed on his handsome smudge face. Slowly, making some small step noises, announcing his presence he walked towards her.
“Get up.” These two words were enough to make her startle. She was so nervous to even notice when he came out of the bathroom.
“Y...Yes, sir.” She gulped back harsher, trying to get on her feet but stumbled, trembling on her feet. Quickly, Carson’s hand moved around her waist, holding her.
A sudden silence fell around them. All he could do was see her face so close to his. His heartbeat raced with a sudden blow. So did hers. Like a flash, she saw his eyes again. So clear like a crystal.
“Beautiful.” He breathed, unknowingly.
“Huh?” She made a noise, blinking rapidly. ‘Was that meant for me?’ She asked herself.
“Uhm..” He quickly let go of her. Running his fingers throw his hair. Trying to calm himself down. “Sleep on the couch there. I think you will find some blankets in the closet. Go!” He almost shouted the last word as if he was annoyed by her.
She jumped a little, keeping her head low. Stiff as hell, she moved. Remembering all the steps. She walked to the closet, grabbed a blanket, and went to the couch.
“Why did he even ask me to sleep here when he wasn’t even going to do anything?” Luna muttered to herself, knowing the bed is too far and he won’t be able to listen either way.
“Do you want me to do something?” Carson mumbled out in a heavy hoarse tone.
“Huh!! I…” She was taken aback. ‘What the hell!’
Carson stepped closer to her, pushing the pillow to her stomach. Clenching on it. She tried to take it but his grip was harder as if he didn’t want to let go.
“Stop provoking me, when you know you can’t handle it.” He checked her from head to toe. Still stiff and fidgeting like a ball. With that, he walked away to his bed and opened his laptop.
Luna heard him typing something. But she didn’t dare to do anything any further. Not a single sound. She lay on the couch as calm as water in a glass.
She couldn’t get any sleep all night, hearing him constantly doing something. But finally, in the early morning, he stopped making too much noise. She was able to relax.
The next moment her eyes opened and she couldn’t move her body. Her blanket wasn’t the same one she slept in and someone was holding her. All she could see was a blurry masculine figure embracing her.
He was calm and sleeping still. She could feel his warmth. But a sudden ambush hit her head and she tried to move away. Which was an unsuccessful move.
Carson pulled her in even more. Their nose touched and she could feel his warm breath hitting her soft skin. ‘So damn close’. Her eyes widened like a dead fish.
Slowly Carson woke up and saw a pair of beautiful orbs staring at him. In his subconscious, he couldn’t resist but kiss her plumpy lips. Luna stopped breathing for a moment. He slowly and gently kissed her as if she was cotton candy.
The next second, her collar itched. She scrunched her eyes, making a small hurt noise. Carson pulled away. Thinking he did something wrong to her.
“Ehm…” He quickly pushed her away as if he didn’t mean to touch her in the first place. “Something came over me. I’m sorry. I have to go.” He sputtered out. “Why am I telling you this?” He muttered, shaking his head. He left for the bathroom.
“Wh… What just happened?” Luna breathed in disbelief. Trying to load the information of what just happened. She straightened her back. A sudden realization hit her.
“This isn’t where I fell asleep.” She muttered, touching the soft silk sheets. “I’m in bed?” She was more than shocked.
A knock on the door took her thoughts away. Drake entered and a small cheerful smile fell over his face, seeing Luna staring at him. Closing the door behind, he took a look around.
“Good morning, beautiful.” He sighed, relaxed. ‘So nothing happened.’ He thought to himself.
“Good morning,” Luna replied with a genuine smile.
“Where is Carson?” Drake whispered, loudly. Trying to just converse with her.
“In the bathroom. He just woke up.” Luna replied genuinely. She thinks of Drake as the most peaceful and comfortable person she has ever met.
Drake chuckled a bit, “He what?” Drake repeated as if there was something wrong she said.
“He is in the bathroom.” She pointed towards the bathroom with an innocent face.
“Yeah, I get that. But he just woke up? He slept?” Drake sounded startled to hear those words.
“Erm… yeah. But he woke up.” Luna wasn’t getting what Drake was pointing at.
“You must be mistaken. See, Carson has insomnia, he can’t sleep.” Drake chuckled a bit.
Luna furrowed her brows in confusion. She was certain Carson was sleeping when she woke up. Just when they were talking about him. He came out of the bathroom.
Carson raised his brows, seeing Drake talking to Luna.
“What’s the matter?” He asked, seeing both of them surprised by him.
“I heard you slept?” Drake smiled trying to be his genuine friend but he should have known Carson better than that.
Carson glanced at Luna and then back at Drake, “Stop smiling. And stop acting like we are friends.” Carson sighed, rolling his eyes. Drake’s smile vanished into thin air.
“What’s the schedule?” Carson asked, looking at the time. It was almost noon but he knew this much he wouldn’t have something serious to work on till evening.
“We need to check on the club at northeast Mulberry. You have an appointment with Top and Greg. Apparently, that would be all. But late at night, we need to ….” Before Drake could continue, Carson interrupted.
“Shh!!” Carson eyed Drake and looked at Luna. She was just lost in her own thoughts but still, it felt like she was listening to them.
“Hey! You! Big eyes. Go take a shower or something.” Carson yelled at Luna. She abruptly stood up and went straight to the bathroom.
“How long have you been working here?” Carson’s sassy attitude was on point.
“My whole life?” Drake was unsure what Carson wanted to hear.
“You don’t have a fucking clue when to talk about private matters and when not? Why do I have to work with this level of stupidity?!” Carson gave him a disappointed look as he couldn’t fire him or kill him, otherwise, his dad would kill him.
He was only allowed to handle the matters to some extent if Drake was by his side. Those clear words still ring in his head.
“I’m sorry.” Drake apologized, closing the tablet. He went over to the closet and picked up an outfit for Carson. It was his daily duty to take care of Carson and be his loyal assistant.
Soon when they were about to leave. Luna came out of the bathroom. Her hair was still wet. She wore the only towel she found in the bathroom. Thinking they must have left by now.
Innocently she walked over to the closet. Totally ignored Carson, which didn’t please him too much.
“Go and wait by the car,” Carson ordered Drake. Drake wasn’t sure if he should do that. The way Carson’s eyes were set on Luna, he was sure this won’t go well.
‘It isn’t her fault for not noticing him!’ Drake sighed and left the room with no other choice.
A sigh escaped his mouth when he reached by car. Glancing back at the door, he despised himself for some reason. Looking around he put his Ipad on the car and took out a cigarette, lighting it up. Drake fell deep into his memories of her. The first time he saw her was just like a ray of sunshine in that piggsy dungeon place named a human auction house. She was sparkling in the dark, her smile when their eyes met, still flutters his heart. ‘You dirtsy bitch!! Mop it up quickly. I don’t want to see old faggots semen all over the place.’ A woman who seemed like a bossy type, smacked her head while running to the other side. The smile on the girl’s face vanished which made Drake’s heart sink into sorrow. His rage against that place overgrew. He just wanted to get that girl out of there somehow. So he tried to talk it out of her. But seeing her walking towards him, he couldn’t move a bit. Just like he was frozen in time and space. ‘Oh!!’ She bumped into him. ‘I’m sorry. I couldn’t
“Grand entrance as always.” Top huffed, shaking his head watching Carson coming over. “That piece of shit needed that much.” Greg seemed annoyed and so done with it. That took Carson’s attention. But he knew what it could be. “How did the announcement go?” Carson asked, adjusting his suit while taking a seat. Drake pinched the tip of his nose, sitting beside Carson. “Same old Italian shit! I can’t be with him. Apparently, it hurts his mafia pride. A son being gay in mafia ain’t acceptable.” Top sighed, remembering his father’s clear words. Pouring wine for Carson and Drake. “It’s okay, babe. I’m not leaving you.” Greg snickered, pecking his lips. Top blinked, giving him a tight smile, agreeing with him. “I’ll be right back,” Greg whispered, rushing to the restroom. Watching him go, Top’s expressions changed from being awfully happy to sorrow and uncertainty. Carson and Top have been friends for years now. From business partners to friends, it wasn’t that hard. Drake would just fi
“Get me everything on Yakim,” Carson ordered walking toward the car while Drake followed him behind. “Everything dirty or corrupted you mean?” Drake was just making sure of Carson's orders. “You dumbass! How many years has it been and you still gotta ask that. Everything means everything. Even his fucking family.” Carson Spat out at Drake, growling with an unknown irritation at seeing Yakim’s face on his property. ‘I feared this day would come. Does he really need to go to such lengths? I gotta talk to Mr.Russell before he does something foolish. He needs to learn that we don’t hurt women and children.’ Drake went deep into his thoughts about how scary and heartless Carson was getting day by day without missing any. “Are you gonna drive or sleep?” Carson glared in the mirror at Drake. Without uttering a single word, Drake drove off. “Turn left. Go to the East warehouse.” Carson calmly ordered, deeply reading something on the tablet he was holding. Drake glanced in the mirror,
‘He has finally reached the limits. All I can now see in his eyes is death and nothing else. How could it be? The kid I used to play with. The one who used to defy killing over anything or anyone. How could he just kill the woman who raised him when he was left all alone. How could he be so heartless?’ Drake cursed himself for letting her fall over into his arms. She doesn’t deserve a man like him. She deserves better. “What have I done?” Drake growled, punching his head in frustration. Tears of relentlessness flowed down his cheeks. He regretted doing what he did. All of it. “Drake!” A man rushed inside the room where Drake was kept as ordered by Carson. “Boss wants you to come down soon. He has to get going.” “Who the fuck are you?” Drake rolled his eyes, fixing his tie and wearing his shoes. “Oh me! I'm a chore boy here.” The guy smiled, showing all of his nasty teeth and chewing the meat he had in his hands. “Chore boy? And you dare to talk to me casually?” Drake sighed
“Dispatch everyone to cover the mansion. Don’t let a single fly out of this place. You hear me!” Carson grunted, squinching his eyes. The anger in his voice sent shivers down Drake’s spine. “Yes, Sir. Right away.” Drake said and rushed out ordering everyone to cover around the mansion. “Mommy!” Carl opened his eyes, finding himself on his bed while his mother was in the bathroom. He could only hear her scowling the pain in her heart through those doors. A big frown dwells up on his face not understanding what was happening to his mother. So he decided to step out of the room. “Huh?” Suddenly he was startled to see many guards running around crazily, shouting at each other, ‘Find the girl! Quick!’“I need some water.” Carl sighed, ignoring the rush he went straight to the kitchen. Which was, however, empty. Not even the maids were there. “Ugh! I can’t reach it.” He groaned trying to reach up the table to get the glass. In his sudden attempts, he ended up throwing the glass on the
“Do you really want to keep her here?” Drake asked, glancing around the shitty room. “She should have been put here in the first place,” Carson replied, calmly. Drake flinched and kept staring at Luna. “Go to your room. I’ll call you when it is the time to change the Iv.” Carson put down his cigarette and smirked, turning his back to Drake, “Or maybe I’ll do it myself.” “Yourself. But you don’t even know the basics of how to…” Before Drake could argue any further, Carson turned around. “Shut up and leave! Always remember who is in charge. I’m not your friend anymore. Stop talking down to me. I can only listen to a limit.” Carson stared at him and waited for him to leave the room. Drake took his cue and left the room. Carson sighed, “It’s just the beginning and you are in such misery.” He lay down on the other side of the bed, tossing around, he faced Luna, “You sure are worth the money I bet on you.” he smiled, staring at her face. For a second he couldn’t just take his eyes awa
Somehow hearing those words from his mouth gave her the vital sensation running through her veins, making her beg for more. No matter how profoundly she wanted to but his hand around her neck was not permitting it. He kept grazing over her soft pure skin like a hungry beast, not letting her a single chance to breathe. He knew what he was doing while reaching her core, placing soft and gentle kisses. Her mind was all blank without any thoughts of what would happen after this night. She only wanted to live in the moment not knowing what the future held for her. Roaming all over her sensitive core. He sticks his tongue inside her, making her feel hot inside. Her eyes widened when she realized what he was doing. Soon he realized something astonishing and stopped. Separating himself from her. He stared at her shocked face. As soon as Luna felt empty without his touch, she stared at him, lowering her eyes in confusion and nervousness. “At first I thought I made a huge mistake by wa
The rustic metal smell filled her nostrils. She abruptly opens her eyes and tries to get out of bed.“You love to sleep, don't you?” Carson chuckled, putting the food tray on the side of the table. Luna kept her head down and then she realized. Her collar was gone. She was all free. Touching her neck. She felt relieved. “Don’t get too excited. It was removed because you got sick.” Carson blankly stared at her before grabbing her chin and making her look at him, “But if you don’t behave. I can promise to put it back on. You got that?” “Ye..yes, Sir.” Her lips trembled with fear as she uttered her response. He got closer, grinding his teeth, Luna could feel his breath on her lips, “Good Kitty. Now eat your dinner and stay where you are. Try running away once more and I’ll take you to my dark side.” He smirked, tucking the strand of her hair behind her ear. “I…I’m sorry... Sir.” She almost let her tears fall out in front of him. “Carson. The meeting is at five. We need to leave.”
