Dominic refused to let me go to bring my father out of his hiding place, no matter how much I begged him. He was concerned about my safety. He was certain that his father would try something to derail their plan and kill my father because he was furious yesterday when he came here.

We were all waiting for our father to return, especially me, John, and my mother. The small meeting Dominic arranged for us on Christmas was insufficient to satisfy our longing to meet him. After all, he was away from us for such a long time.
