Chapter 15

Sitting on a couch alone sipping a wine I watched as the guests danced to the rhythm of the loud song playing, yeah it was our after engagement party and Edde made sure that the party was simple with less crowd just few of his rich friends, Mom, his dad and Melanie.

Our engagement shouldn't be called an engagement exactly because it was just about us signing the papers the lawyer brought and that was just it! I still couldn't believe that I was married_yes it's fake but seems real to me because two years is a long time to spend with Edde.

Mom didn't stay long in the party because she had some friends to see while Melanie left me to tour the house. I wasn't feeling the party. My mind was disturbed knowing fully well that once the party ends and everyone leaves I will be stuck here with Edde.

"Hey Etta! Let's dance!" Melanie shouted from the loudness of the music as she walked towards me dancing crazily.

"Mel, please I can't, I feel sick!" I lied as she nodded still dancing.

"You sh
