Ethan froze in shock as different emotions swirled in his mind. Confusion, doubt and then happiness.

He was confused as to why his father's stance had suddenly changed because he knew his old man could be stubborn. Then he doubted if this was real… if he was really supporting his decision for the first time in his life.
