Chapter forty-two (Wasn't expecting that..........

Mira's Pov:

"Please…..Nicholas, don't do this," with teary eyes I pleaded to my demon mate, my monster of a husband. He looked scary and weird which sent cold chills down my spine, he looked harsh and mad as he dragged me by my hair hurling me towards himself.

"Plea….haa!! Nicholas is…. Painful," I audibly groaned in pain as tears kept flooding down my face. Did I do a bad thing by accepting this marriage? My life is full of pain and misery, why didn't I run away when my instinct was telling me to do so before his arrival? I shouldn't have come here in the first place, assuming that I went directly into my room after my encounter with him earlier this evening this shouldn't have happened.
