Fighting through the pain

Richard’s POV:

I was running with fury at the forefront of my mind.

I was such an idiot. I had made so much mistakes in the past few days.

Now I had made the worst mistake.

I had left my pack alone, at such an important time. Now they were being attacked.

“Two of you go to the west gate and see what’s happening,” I ordered two of the swiftest warriors in my team.

They nodded in unison and were off. We kept on going on our journey, and I began to feel dizzy for a second.

At once I felt a burning sensation in my throat, as well as a sting on my arm. Then, a slash at my throat. My hands flew to check my Throat and found it unblemished.

I was feeling the pain from my pack members.‘and it was a lot. I know fact, it was too much.

I groaned out loud, trying to not let my sounds of pain get heard by anyone. I needed to get to the pack immediately.

I could only hope that Darren had managed to stave off the worst of the attack I now knew that Leon was behind.
