Crystal had barely slept last night. Her thoughts had been filled with Cyrus and the woman he had brought to the house. It shattered her heart and made her feel so teary. She had to hold herself from crying, to avoid any questions from James or anyone. It ached her heart, which made her realize that her attempts to get his attention were failing. She felt disrespected, even though he did it unintentionally. At the same time, she felt bad for scolding him without a better reason. It made her wonder what he thought when she said those words. Once they had boarded their plane, Crystal started walking out of the airport with the anger from before still resonating inside of her. She needed to call James even though he was in the middle of whatever business meeting he had. He had no right to speak for her in ways she never wanted to even thought about. As she marched towards the parking lot, she heard Cyrus calling out to her but she ignored. She felt his large hand grip her elbow then he spun her around, almost making her land on him. “What is it, Cyrus?” She asked through gritted teeth. “Look, I know you’re not in a good mood but at least watch where you’re going. You almost got in front of a moving car,” Cyrus said and looked past her head. She furrowed her eyebrows and looked behind her. There was a sports car with its angry owner glaring straight at her. She waved apolitically and stepped out of the way. “Thanks,” she muttered and started walking towards their parked SUV.

Cara was all smiles. Never in a million years did she think that she was going to be hanging out in public with Cyrus. Although it was uncomfortable for her since Cyrus was a public figure and almost everyone in the mall, everyone including some paparazzi had their attention on them. As they made their way past a store, a group of highschool girls jogged up to them with grins and giggles. Crystal stopped herself from rolling her eyes when one of them stood between her and Cyrus. She crossed her arms and watched as the fangirls fawned over a smiling Cyrus. He took pictures with them and signed on their bags, shirts and even their arms. Crystal immediately got out of the car and banged the door shut. She angrily walked into the house with Cyrus calling out to her. As soon as she stepped into the house, she paused at the sight of her husband sitting on one of the living room couches. She rolled her eyes and started making her way to the spiral steps when he stood up and blocked her path. "What is it?" She asked, eyes narrowed and angry at bay. "Where have you been?" James demanded and looked past her when the front door opened and closed. "How is that any of your business? Later that night after having dinner alone in the kitchen, Crystal walked into her bedroom and found James sitting with his head bowed. She stared at him for some seconds before walking towards the direction of the bathroom. She saw him raise his head and the tired look in his eyes made her worried for a moment. "Crystal... Can I talk to you, please?" She stopped and turned around with a dry expression on her face. She shifted her weight to her right leg and crossed her arms, waiting for him to speak. "You have one minute to speak," she said and he chuckled. "What's funny?" "Oh. Sorry." He walked up to her and cleared his throat. "I am really sorry for speaking to you in that tone of voice. I feel like shit and I hope that you forgive me. I really love you, Crystal and I want this to work. All I ask is that you forgive me. I was stupid for telling my family our business and I promise I won't do it again." Crystal kissed

"I'm fine, Crystal," Cyrus said as he stood up from the floor. She stared up at him from her kneeling position, checking to see if he was truly fine as he had said. I should remember that he has other people in his life and won't suddenly notice me and leave all these people," she said and walked over to the bed. She sat down on it and sighed, pushing away every thought of Cyrus out of her head.Some hours later, Crystal woke up to the sound of music thumping through the walls of the mansion and muffled voices. She scanned the dim room, wondering where the noises were coming from. It was after some seconds that she remembered that Cyrus was having a party.
