"I can't believe the queen would lock up her own daughter just because she wanted to be the most powerful" I heard one of the guards say.

"I wonder if things would be different if the priestess hadn't revealed that prophesy" The other one replied.

They were different from the former guards who were guarding my cell. They seemed new. It's rare for someone to speak of me with sympathy instead of contempt.

"Hey" I called out to them.

"I thought you were sleeping" The first guard said.

"I just woke up. Could you please let me in on the prophecy?."

"We will get killed if anyone knows about it, the queen doesn't even know we are aware of it." The second guard answered, I could see the fear in his eyes.

"I'm stuck in here remember?, No one will know of it so far I'm in here. I'll die soon if I continue living like this anyway, can't I at least know the reason for all my suffering?" I pleaded with the guards. I could see their eyes wavering a bit, contemplating if telling m
