I messed up.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" Seth muttered when he heard the door to the house open. She was running off! Again. And it was all his stupid fault. What the hell had he been thinking?!

He hadn't even been thinking at all.

"Fuck!" He yelled, pounding his fist into the bed. Who could blame him?! His brain had been mashed up in the affair, he hadn't his wits around him. Saying that had been the most natural thing to do.

Well, congratulations! You've managed to repulse her. He groaned, dragging a hand down his face. He had meant to mess things up. He had just wanted to make her feel special, nothing more! But instead, he had blown his plan to bits by jumping the gun.

His chest hurt, and it felt hard to breathe remaining in bed as his head replayed the way she had looked at him as if the very thought of marriage disgusted her. Rising out of bed, he searched for his shirt.
