Chapter 6 - The confront

Killian POV

“Kill, we have a situation at the Club that needs your attention,” Elliot says, and I raise my eyes at him as I close my laptop.

“Talk to me,” I say as I grab my gun and the rest of my personal belongings. He follows me out of the room, and we walk down the corridor where Theo is already waiting for us. His face is dark. I frown, looking at him, and he shakes his head.

“Girl problem,” Elliot whispers, and I look back at Theo, that is shooting daggers at Elliot’s back through his eyes. I shake my head as I push away the memory of Ashley’s body pressed against mine while we danced.

We get into the SUV, and Theo starts driving. He is driving like a fucking maniac. “What the fuck”, Elliot moans in the back seat as Theo speeds through the streets of New York.

“Calm down, lad,” I whisper, and he looks at me with blazing eyes. I have never seen him like this. He shakes his head and focuses on the road in front of him again.

“Are you going to tell us what happened?” I ask, and Theo shakes his head as he tightens his grip on the steering wheel, making his knuckles turn white. I look back at Elliot, who shrugs his shoulders and focuses his eyes on his phone. Fucking great. This is all I need.

Theo parks the car in front of the club, and we get out to find four of my men already waiting for me. I give them a nod, and they nod back softly as the bouncer moves, and we walk in. “Spread,” I let out, and they all nod, going in different directions.

“So, what is going on?” I ask, and Theo raises his chin toward a big bearded guy near the bar. I look at him and then back at Theo. “What the fuck is he doing here?”, I ask, and Elliot shrugs. We walk towards Petrov, and he smiles, bringing a tumbler full of amber liquid to his mouth.

“The usual boss?”, the bartender asks as I rest my elbows on the bar looking at Petrov. I nod my head, and Elliot smiles as Theo looks like he is about to rip the bloke’s head off.

“Took you long enough,” Petrov says with his thick Russian accent. I nod, drinking a small sip of my tumbler as I move my eyes around the room. This could get bad, and all these people might get injured.

“Let’s cut the crap. What do you want?” I ask and he lets out a small chuckle. He downs his drink and rises from his chair. He is a little shorter than me, with shaved hair and a big beard. He looks like a fucking caveman.

“Shall we go to your office?” he asks, and I shake my head. Is this guy fucking serious? I would never let anyone near my shit. Let alone a Russian. He can fuck right off.

“I think we’re good here,” I say as Theo nods, and Elliot stands behind me with an unfazed expression.

“You,” I hear a familiar voice behind me as a finger touches my shoulder. Theo stands still with his eyes on Petrov while Elliot holds onto the arms of the person that just touched him.

I turn around, ready to bite someone’s head off, and I see Ashley. She is inebriated, and she looks fucking beautiful. I move my eyes up and down her body while she fights off Elliot’s grip. I raise my hand, and he lets go of her, and she points her finger at my chest, poking me.

“You, you bastard, get the fuck out of my mind,” Her eyes glued on mine. I raise my hand and dismiss Theo and Elliot. They both pull Petrov away with them while I focus all of my attention on the beautiful goddess in front of me. I smile as her face goes bright red.

“Why are you doing this to me? I have a boyfriend, you know?” she keeps talking, and I nod my head while she talks. Her friend behind her was trying to make her stop talking.

“You make me feel like I need to hide. Stop looking at me like that”, she says, and I raise one eyebrow as I cross my arms in front of my chest.

“Come on, Ash, and please, let’s go. Think about Tobias,” she says, and I feel like my heart has been hit by an arrow. I stop smiling straight away and look at Ashley as her face goes pale.

“Are you okay?” I ask, taking one step closer to her. She shakes her head as she rests one hand against my chest. I bet she can feel my erratic heartbeat.

“I’m going to be sick,” she says, and her friend’s face shows pure panic. I wrap my arms around Ash’s body, carrying her bridal style as she wraps her arms around my neck, and I move quickly towards the back stairs that lead to my office and private bathroom. Her friend follows close behind, but my security stops her before she reaches the stairs, and she starts shouting for us. I ignore her as my only concern is Ashley.

I go up the stairs two at a time and open my door quickly, rushing to the bathroom. As soon as her feet reach the floor, she bends in front of the toilet and starts emptying her stomach. I grab her hair back and rub my other hand over her back, trying to comfort her.

“Please leave me alone,” she says, but I stay silent. There’s no way I am leaving her alone while she is feeling sick. How is it possible that Tobias allows her to go out drinking like this? Doesn’t he have anyone taking care of her? My phone starts ringing in my pocket, but I ignore the fucker and focus my attention again on Ashley.

She stops puking and cleans her mouth with the back of her hand before walking towards the sink and washing her mouth and hand. I open the cabinet next to the sink and pull out a new toothbrush still in its packet and offer it to her. Her eyes meet mine, and she smiles softly. Opening the package and I pass her toothpaste. She puts some on her toothbrush and starts brushing her teeth. Her face is blushed, and her makeup is melting all down her face.

She looks at her face in the mirror, and I can see the horror in her eyes. I offered her a towel,, and she washed her face clearing it from the dark makeup she was wearing, and my breath caught, and she looked even more beautiful than before.

Fuck me. She is beautiful. My phone keeps ringing in my pocket, and I take it out to see five missed calls from Theo. I walk to the window that covers an entire wall and looks down at the dance floor to see that everything has been evacuated, and there are only my men and ten other guys pointing guns at each other. Fucking great. That was all I needed.

“Stay here, Angel. There are some saltines and water on the mini fridge,” I say, pressing a button on my phone, turning the glass dark. She nods her head as she lays down on my leather couch and sinks in. She looks beautiful with her hair all spread around and her body resting on my sofa. I shake my head and walk out of the office.

“What the fuck is going on?”, I bark loudly, and all eyes are on me as I walk down, holding my gun in my right hand. And that’s when I see him. Tobias Mariano, with a gun, pointed at Theo.
