Wedding

Walking down the aisle, tears dropped from her eyes. Anybody could think they were tears of joy but to her she was using this opportunity to let go of all the emotions pilled in her heart.

Even though she was crying it was not enough, she wanted to scream everything out but couldn't do that infront of everyone.

She was the most beautiful bride with the wedding dress imported from Paris from the famous designer and specifically made for her even without her knowledge.

She was an epitome of beauty with her cat like eyes and the long silk like hair that was set to march the taste. Not forgetting the well decorated venue for the wedding, she wasn't expecting any less after all she was getting married to the richest bachelor in the city.

It would have been a dream come true to every woman but not for her, she had more important dreams than getting married to a man she has never seen, someone who hides behind a mask.

"Seems he is scared to show his face," she thought and let out a bitter smile, who was she kidding anyway, he is a ruthless billionaire, can he be scared of anyone?

For one month her mom has been telling her about marriage but she thought it was one big humorless joke until she landed yesterday and found out that everything was ready for the wedding.

"Your wedding is tomorrow," she remembers that statement the same way she remembers her name.

      "Meaning?" She asked calmly.

"Meaning you are getting married to Damian tomorrow at the parish. Everything is ready and all you need to do is to get ready," her mom replied and she chuckled.

"Mom the exam I did in school dealt with my brain, I had a long tiresome trip, what sort of nonsense is this?"

"Nonsense? I thought this is the same thing I have been telling you for a month now," she refreshed her mind and Ariel sighed.

Everything happened so first and here she was walking towards this masked man who stood at the altar rigid like someone who lacked emotions.

She wondered what was going on behind that mask.

"He could be wondering what this stupid fellow is thinking taking herself to the slaughter house," she thought to herself.

Something in her didn't seem right, her instincts were telling her that this was worst decision she is making in her life but her mind was telling her to just obey her mom and get a divorce later.

After what seemed like forever, she got to the altar and everyone was clapping and rejoicing which was noise to her ears.

"This is a funeral, everyone should be sad," she mummered to herself turning to face her mom who was happier than everyone else including the bride.

Jessica smiled at her daughter and Ariel forced a smile back.

"I Damian Lillard take you Ariel Wayne to be my lawful wedded wife...," His vows interrupted her thoughts bringing her back to the church.

She did her vows to and the worst moment came.

"You may now kiss the bride," the priest announced and she turned to face the priest with a 'was it necessary' look.

"Kiss her, kiss her,"  the crowd was shouting and her heart was thumping fast.

As he moved closer, she remembered her boyfriend Jayden, he promised to marry her soon, he introduced her to his family, he loves her, what will she tell him when he calls?

He is not rich but he can take care of her and their future family, she was betraying him, his love, his trust, his respect and pride, how will she face him after this?

"I don't know what your family did or used on my family but it won't work on me," he whispered in her ear in a cold emotionless voice, gave her peck and moved back.

His cold voice sent a cold shiver down her spine scaring her. Finally she has succeeded in signing her own death warrant.

The wedding finally came to an end and he took her hand into his, squeezing it tightly hurting her. She forced a smile to everyone though inside she wanted to cry.

Getting inside the brand new red limousine, she was finally able to free herself.

She rested her head back on the seat and closed her eyes imagining if the man beside her was her love, Jayden.

It would be a dream come true, imagining what they would have done in the car, she couldn't help but smile but it didn't last due to the cold voice that came up.

"Once you are done dreaming you can follow me," he said like he was ordering a puppet around.

She got down from the car and there Infront of her was the stood the big Halison hotel.

All her life she wished to enter the hotel but even all her savings can not pay for a night in the hotel, neither can they hire somebody like her, she still didn't have the experience they need.

"I guess the wedding isn't a bad idea either, who would have thought that someone like me will enter this hotel so soon," she thought to herself and smiled.

"Show this at the reception and you will be taken to his room," the driver handed her a card through the window.

"Thank you," she appreciated taking the card abd started walking towards the door recieving questioning glares from people.

She wasn't surprised, they had the right to after all she had a wedding dress in the evening with no groom.

Come to think of it the wedding was boring not the one she had wished for. Not uttering a word, she placed the card on the desk Infront of the two receptionists.

"Seems like someone ran away from the altar," one of the receptionist whispered to the other but she heard it.

"Thinking Damian will marry her," the other one responded irritating her the more.

"One of his bitches, maybe he promised her heaven on earth," she chuckled.

"No he doesn't promise anything, I think he took her to cloud nine and she started hearing her own things," Ariel had taken enough for the day.

"Listen you to, I have had enough for today and you won't want me to show you how bitches behave. Which room am I going to?" she asked raising her voice a bit.

"Room four in the presidential suite," One responded and she walked to the elevator as they laughed behind her.

She heard them but preferred to assume before she loses her temper. Getting to the door, she used the card and opened the door.

He wasn't there and she sat on the bed removing her shoes, her legs were hurting and the only thing running in her mind was rest.

She needed sleep more than anything else in the world but looking around there was only one bed. She couldn't imagine herself sharing a bed with that big head as she referred to him.

After the shoes, she had this big gown that was proving impossible to remove.

"Aaaargggg," she screamed in frustration making Damian come out of the bathroom to check what was happening not because he cared but because he didn't want noise.

She walked past him to the bathroom and continued with her latest acquired job. She couldn't imagine herself asking for help especially not from Damian, he will think so highly of himself.

Seconds turned into minutes and minutes into an hour. She spent one full hour in the bathroom and she could continue, she buried her pride and took slow steps out of the bathroom and there he was on the bed busy on his laptop dressed in pajamas.

"Help me with the dress," she spoke, she sounded so courageous but deep inside she was scared of a disappointment.

She needed help, that's the only way the fucking dress would get out of her body.

"Why should I?" He asked not looking up from his laptop.

"Mr man don't think so highly of yourself like some kind of a small god. If not for your family's craziness, I won't be here, I have a boyfriend I love so much. You have two options, help me or I cut it into pieces. I'm not losing anything, no cent of mine is in it," she threatened.

"My family's craziness? Was is not your family that made this nonsense up?" He yelled.

"You wish, are you helping me or not?" She arched her brows.

"You really are the crazy one here, I help you as who? You can cut it into pieces for all I care, how much was it anyway?" He shrugged.

"It could be a source of income if I hire it out or sell it?" Her business part of the mind began thinking and she smiled heading for the door.

"Where do you think you are going?" He questioned.

"To get someone to help me since you can't,"

"How should I help you?" He asked dropping the laptop on the bed.

He wasn't going to allow her embarrass him, what will people think if she goes out to look for help yet he was there?

Ariel stopped on her tracks not wanting to believe what she was hearing, last she checked he had refused to offer any help.

"You said what?" She asked irritating him as he doesn't like repeating himself.
