Cemetary

Not being able to hold herself she got up.

"I'm sorry but I'm not feeling so fine, please excuse me," she bowed and slipped through the door as fast as she could.

Thankfully she saw the bathrooms at the far end, she touched her stomach and started walking towards the bathroom.

"Since everything is done and we have reached an agreement, the meeting is over, excuse me," Damian got up and rushed after her.

"He ran to her and got there before she reached the bathroom,"

"Use that," he handed her his jacket.

     "Why?"

"You are on your menstrual and technically you have stains on your dress," he said bluntly.

"What! I'm so sorry for embarrassing you. Go back to the meeting, I will be fine,"

      "I'll take you home,"

"No, I have to go to the mall," she winced in pain.

With each passing minute, the pain increased and she nolonger had the energy to stand.

"Sure, let's go," he helped her to the elevator and she didn't put up a fight, she didn't have the energy at that time, they will fight later.

She laid at the back seat and finally fell asleep. He parked the car outside the mall, went in and picked a packet from every type as he didn't know what she uses then drove home.

He carried her in his arms and headed inside.

"Fiona, bring me the bag in the car," He instructed getting inside.

Fiona rushed out and was surprised to see a full bag of sanitary towels, as she got to the door Lena blocked her way.

      "What's that?"

"I should tell you as who?"

"What is going on in this house, people are just changing," Lena complained.

"Nothing has changed, did you want him to carry you? I know you have never been in love so you won't understand how to be in love. One advice, don't allow yourself to be a third party among two people who are in love, you will die. Get out of my way," Lena clenched her fists and got out of the way to allow her go in.

He brought her to his room and laid her on the bed then went to the bathroom to prepare hot a bath for her.

"Sir, here is the bag," Fiona announced entering the room.

"Place it on the bed, then get her some clothes from her room," he instructed as he headed to wake her up.

He tapped her several times waking her up.

Lena entered their quarters locked the door then took her phone to call Ivy to report what she just saw.

"I told you not to be calling me anyhow, you will get caught," Ivy complained.

      "There is a big problem,"

     "Which is?"

"I don't think this marriage was arranged as we thought, he just arrived with her in his arms and she was asleep, who knows where they are coming from,"

     "What!"

"He has never raised his voice at her, yesterday they arrived at eight and he didn't say a word,"

"I'm sure the marriage was planned, just stick to the plan,"

"Ok," she hanged up, hid her phone and went outside only to bump into Nora who gave her questioning eyes and walked past her going inside.

Jayden threw the phone across the room frustrated, this is the fifth day since the incident and all effort to get Ariel have proven futile.

He found out the photos and video were sent to her and he really wanted to explain everything to her but her phone hasn't been going through.

"She called and I just thought it wise as a good friend to tell her why you couldn't talk to her at that moment," Beth's words kept on ringing in his mind making him go crazy.

He hated himself for allowing that bitch in his house in the first place, to top it up he ate her food, she sounded so convincing, who would have known that the food was drugged.

Since he chased her out of the house, he hasn't seen her and the last thing he wants is to see her as he wouldn't be responsible for what will happen to her.

He sat on the bed and picked the photo they took together on their second year anniversary, remembering all the happy moments they spent together, and the promises they made to each other but he broke everything.

"I'm sorry," he screamed as his voice echoed in the room.

Since that day pain and agony has become part of him.

Damian parked his car at a distance, removed his mask to avoid people from noticing him and walked into the cemetery.

It was getting dark already and the party at the company was already on but he wasn't interested in going.

Every month on the fifteenth he always came to the cemetery and today won't be an exemption.

He got to the grave, threw away the old flowers and placed fresh ones then sat there.

"Sheena Easton, 1975-2013," was written on the stone.

"You know I got married last week. It was arranged I don't know why he insisted I get married to her. You said I should move on but I don't think I can forgive him. I'm just doing my best to burry everything. My wife, that's the only good thing he has ever done for me. I told you I will never get married till I meet someone like you, she's like you. You remember today is my birthday? I can't celebrate because it's the same day you were killed," chuckles bitterly.

"I will find the murder now that I'm married it's time I face my fears and past. You said I should only go to see her with my wife, though she's stubborn just like you, I will go with her," he paused and looked at the sky, it was dark, it was coming coming to rain.

"It's coming to rain, but I will still spend time with you,"

At a distance were two men dressed in black with masks watching him.

"Who is that guy? Last time we came he was also there," Leon said to his master but he didn't reply.

"Which grave were we going to sir?" Leon asked after a while.

"It's occupied, it's coming to rain, let's get out of here," he said coldly and turned starting to walk away.

Leon sighed and walked after him. Nobody can understand the Lillard family. Last year they came to the cemetery and met the same stranger seated at that grave, they watched him like some sort of movie and walked away today to.

He really wanted to know who the guy was, why he was seated there, who was buried in that grave, how was he or she related to the Lillard?

Leon had so many questions and decided to come back later to find out out of curiosity. He has been working for the family for three years and it's the strangest family he has ever known all her life. Seems like everyone is hiding his or her own secret.

Lillard the second got home and went to his mother's room.

"Were you able to see her?" She asked immediately he entered the room.

"He was there already, I couldn't get closer,"

      "Does he know?"

"I don't know, he has never said anything,"

The old woman sighed.
