In another part of the city, inside an air-conditioned hall, many ladies were seen in different positions dressed in a flamboyant and lavish manner. From their appearance, it could be easily guessed that they were models while some were actresses in modeling jobs part-time. Hera had woken up early alongside Anna and they did the various house chores they found necessary to do that Saturday morning. They sang the lyrics of songs that they knew and talked about their school life. Anna wholeheartedly prepared breakfast for them while Hera got Austin ready for the day as he was still sleeping. As they ate their breakfast, Anna talked to her about her newfound job and things that she needed to know. "Our boss can be really strict and he doesn't like being delayed." Anna chewed her meal and swallowed it. "With this behavior of his, who will marry him?" Hera asked. "Probably his childhood and family friend, Delilah. Do you know her?" "I am not into watching the news so I don't know who she is," Hera answered and dished more meals for her son. "That's right. Anyway, don't just get into her bad book because she can be rude as well. Zach was in his room reviewing a few documents as he ought to because he was a businessman. It was already late in the evening and he had had dinner with his family so the only thing left to do was to face his business life again. Beside him was a wireless speaker where a slow melodious song was playing, it wasn't that loud enough to disturb his work though.After a while, there was a knock on his door and Zach granted whoever it was permission to come in. His father, Ezekiel walked in and shut the door. "Still busy with business, heh?" He asked and Zach turned to look at him. He smiled on seeing his father who took his seat in front of him. "Father." "Come on, come on, y'all. We are getting late already." Anna announced as the trio ran helter-skelter in the living room, trying to pick one thing or the other. "Do I look smart?" Hera asked as she stood upright in front of Anna. "Smarter," Anna answered. "What about me?" Little Austin asked. "You look great." "You look fantastic." The two women replied at once and laughed at their sudden answer. "Alright, let's move it, people," Anna said and they all left the sitting room. She locked the door and gave each key to the mother and son pair. "In case of 'incasity'." She said. "Is that even a word?" Austin asked. "Your mum knows what it means but it isn't a correct word."It was Monday morning, a day considered by many to be boring, stressful, not anticipated, and longer than any other day but for Hera, it wasn't even close to that. It had been a month since Hera started working in the Young Corporation and she earnestly expected her first payment. Everyone she had met was nice to her and she found joy in doing her work.She just finished dressing Austin for school, the poor boy had his breakfast with haste and bounced through the door. Her phone rang and she answered after she realized that it was her boss calling. "Hello, Mr. Donald." "Miss Hera, good morning." "Morning, sir." "How was your night?" "It was good, thank you." "I don't know if you are already in the company…" "I am getting ready." "Ah, that's very good. I need a favor from you." "Of course, sir. What is it?" "I won't be able to make it to the office today because I am sick so I want you to please attend the HODs meeting on my behalf. I have already written down your name and stated the reason for my absence. I am sorry for not telling you about it before." Donald sounded sincere. Hera was a bit baffled about the news.

Hera walked up and down in front of the door of Zach's office. She was hesitating on going inside because she was worried and scared of what his reaction could be. What if he recognized her? She brought out her phone and checked her image. Would he be able to? She was confused but after seeing that there was no way out, she reluctantly entered. "I am sorry." She apologized and closed the door. Hera knocked again and waited for his clear instructions before entering. "Good day, sir." She greeted with her head bowed a bit.Zach looked at her with indifference and a bit of a frown. "Yes?" "You asked for the records of the Williams…" "That's right. Do you have it with you?" "Yes." Hera submitted the report to him and watched him closely as he went through it. Afterward, he dropped the file on the table and nodded. "Impressive. I got to know that it's your first time here and you have only worked for a month, I must commend you for a job very well done." Zach said and

Ben entered the mansion later in the day to pick up one or two things inside his room. The whole place was quiet which showed that no one was up except the workers who were just walking up and down for a watch. As he was about to take a turn, he saw Rose climbing down the stairs elegantly. She was pressing her phone with her hand trailing the staircase. However, she slipped before she could even get to the last part but Ben was able to catch her before she landed on the floor.Her phone did have an impact though because it fell on the floor and the screen shattered. Zach was relaxing next to the transparent wall that revealed the outside beauty of the world. He was staring at the picture of Hera with a bit of settlement. Her face wasn't smiley, it felt as if she was forced to take a picture. This was something that captivated his interest that day he looked into her eyes. He sighed and put down the picture. Beneath a file was another picture of her hugging a young boy with a big smile on her face.The picture seemed to have been taken when they were both laughing hysterically. He looked at the details in the first picture and second pictures before smiling but then the smile dried up when he realized the disadvantage.Did that mean Hera was married? But she had no ring on her hand. Although Ben was able to find something about her, it didn't include her private life. It was just about her job, her son, and her family name and that was all.
