Chapter seven

"I just hope we are still on time!".

Dominco said opening the car door and getting out, looking around the storey building he wondered why everywhere was quiet and felt empty.

"I think we arrived a bit too early,there's nobody here"He said to Matthew as he came out to join him outside of the car,

"Early?? It is 4pm,besides who closes work by 4?"

Matthew replied sounding sarcastic,Dominco chuckled as he walked towards the building with Mathew and a bodyguard following closely behind.

The building didn't look like much,and Dominco kept wondering why it would be a company and nobody was working.It wasn't the weekend,it didn't even look like it's been in use for a while ,walking to the back of the building he found an open window it was broken almost falling apart and dusty too.

"Oof...Poor building maintenance"

Dominco said trying to place the window properly preventing it from coming apart completely.

"Nico!!"

He turned as he heard Matthew calling out his name, trying to let go of the window without bringing it down, he answered Matthew with a shout.

"Round the back!" Seeing as Matthew didn't hear that because he kept calling for him, he left the window and went towards where he could still hear Matthew's voice calling out to him.

"Nico!!!"

"For fuck sake what?"

Dominco shouted when he found Matthew,Who was staring at him like he had grown horns

"What?" He asked.

"Uhh you got dust all over you!!"Matthew said trying to wonder what Dominco was doing out back.

" Is that why you called me to do a cloth checkup!?"

"A what?"

Matthew asked, trying to figure out what Dominco was talking about, Dominco ignoring him turned and began walking back towards the open window, which he was sure by now would have fallen apart completely.

"Don't tell me you're pissed right now Nico?"

Matthew asked following him to the back of the building,when Dominco didn't reply he just kept talking

"So I just got off the phone with our source"

Dominco stopped walking as soon as he heard the word source and turned to face him.

"And?"

"Ohh so now you're responding,you're no longer pissed now are you!!"

Matthew chucked as Dominco just kept staring at him waiting for the information he was about to pass,when he saw that Matthew wasn't going to say anything he continued walking, getting to the window he saw that it didn't come off its hinges he released a breath,since the door was closed and he needed to see what was inside the building,his only way in would have to be through this window,still contemplating on whether he should go in Matthew spoke.

"Don't tell me you wanna go in through there?"

Matthew asked, guessing what Dominco was about to do

"You don't even know what's in there!!"

Dominco didn't reply as he climbed the window and got in.

"You fucker!" Matthew said out loud,not wanting to blindly follow Dominco in, he called Matteo his driver and bodyguard,who was also an Alpha,a bulky one and felt Matteo should follow them in.

"Yes boss"

Matteo asked getting to where Matthew was,

"Go in after Nico,I'd follow behind".

Not uttering a word Matteo climbed the window and went in with Matthew following behind.

Surprisingly the building lights were working just fine,Dominco had expected the lights to flutter or not come on at all but they did.Taking a look round the room,it looked like a normal office that has a desk and chair,lamp and a computer system covered in transparent plastic bags and nothing much else.

Walking towards the system he removed the plastic bag and tried to turn it on which it didn't, leaving it and opening the drawers he heard someone come in through the window looking up he saw Matteo and Matthew who was aggressively dusting his suits he smirked and continued opening the drawers, which he found all empty.

"What the hell are we looking for Nico?"

Matthew asked as he came towards Dominco who was moving from place to place in the office.

"Nothing, anything!! just find something,I'd go check other offices,try to find out what this company did,what business it was involved in just find something useful!".

Dominco said opening the door of the room that led to what looked like a corridor,this time the light in the corridor kept fluctuating, turning left and right not knowing where to go first he called Matteo,

"You go left, I go right, find anything you think would be useful!"

"Yes sir"

Matteo answered as he went towards the left leaving Dominco to head towards the right.

Walking quietly through the corridor Dominco found another door,this one was closed, twisting the handle trying to open it he found out it was locked 

"Shit" 

He cursed before taking a step back and lifting his leg to kick the door which went down with one kick.No ordinary alpha would have been able to take that down in one single kick, Dominco being a dominant alpha had the ability to be super strong.Smiling at himself he walked into the room, heightening his senses and going alpha mode to be able to see in the dark, because the room had no light switch.

He could see everything in red,this office wasn't like the first one,this one had a mattress on a rusty bed,looked like it could fall apart with a single touch sitting by the far corner of the room and a bowl underneath it,looked like the person here used it to pee or eat he couldn't decide which one it was. looking around, he walked towards the table that also had a computer but this one wasn't covered with plastic bag in fact it looked new he turned the computer towards him and touched the power button it came alive, taking a while it loaded and didn't have anything on the screen except a single folder.

Searching the table for the mouse Dominco knocked down a few papers not bothering to pick them up he focused on the mouse, seeing it he hurriedly clicked on the folder just to find it empty

"Fuck!!"

He kicked the table angrily allowing it to fly across the room

"Shit" he whispered, gathering himself, turning to leave the room he found Matthew and Matteo by the door with worry written All over their faces, they both had their guns out.

"What is it?"

Matthew spoke first, staring at the table Dominco destroyed with the computer that was broken on the ground.

"Nothing I just lost it for a while,seems like there's nothing here"

Dominco replied turning to take one last look at the room before turning to Matteo who was gently placing his gun in it's hostler.

"Did you find anything?"

"No,I didn't go far I had to turn back when I heard the noise"

Matteo replied giving way for Matthew to enter into the room

"This place don't look like an office to me"

Matthew said as he fully walked in taking a look around the room

"Yeah I know that," Dominco replied.

"I'm thinking we should leave, maybe hang around a while,wait for someone to show up or try to contact the numbers in the file I was sent. That's a…."

Before Matthew could finish his sentence Dominco cut it 

"There were numbers??!!! And we came here when we could have just called! Are you kidding me Matthew?"

"Shut up Nico this kind of business can't be done over the phone, it has to be a one on one thing,and don't speak to me like I don't know what I'm doing! Besides you also went through it, don't tell me you didn't see it too!"

Matthew said to Dominco angrily but didn't raise his voice like Dominco had done 

"Oh yeah I did do that, I mean go through it"

Dominco replied running his hands through his hair he smirked.

"Besides your coming here wasn't a total waste,you got to see ur girl"

Matteo chipped in, two heads turned to face him,one had a grin on his face while the other was frowning

"That also true,so be grateful mother fucker"

Matthew said poking Dominco on the chest, not waiting for a reply he walked out as he said to Matteo

"Since there's nothing here let's leave I'm starving"

"Yes boss"

The two men walked out leaving Dominco who didn't know what to do but follow behind,he felt murderous that Matteo had dared talk about her like that, calming down he realized he liked the sound of him calling her 'his girl' he liked it too much that he got angry all over again. jumping out the window he walked to where the car was packed, seeing as Matthew was already inside and the engine was running, he didn't say anything just got in and closed his door.

"Now what's got your panties in a twist?"

Mathew asked him grinning from ear to ear.

"Nothing,let's go eat please" Dominco answered after taking in a long breath and focusing on the road.

"You know we should explore this place while we're here,I meant get some chicks and all that!"

Matthew said more to himself than to Dominco because he knew Dominco might not be listening,but to his surprise Dominco answered.

"Yeah we should do that, especially the get some chicks part.." turning to face Matthew he continued

"And just because I said I don't do omegas that doesn't mean you have the right to go after what's mine!!"

This time Matthew laughed out loudly before giving him a reply.

"Alright daddy, staying away from yours then....damn who knew there would be a day I'd get to see you like this, possessive and shit...I like that hehe"

Dominco just frowned and went back to staring at the road before muttering to himself"yeah who knew"....
