Uninvited guest

 Madeline

I swallowed as my fingers wrapped around the handle of my gun.

“What are you doing here, Percy?”

“Good evening to you too, my little mate.”

Smug bastard.

“What are you doing here?”

“Yes, I missed you too and I am happy to see you."

"What are you doing here?"

And this time I pulled the gun out and pointed it at him.

"Well this isn't very polite, little mate."

"Don't test me, Persy. You know that I will pull the trigger without any regret or much thought."

"No you won't."

The next moment he was in front of me.

His movement was so fast that I didn’t even notice when he pulled the gun out of my hand. I Only noticed that when my hands were over my head, they were held up there with one of his and he was staring down at me. The close distance has created this little space that started to suck oxident out of my lungs.

I couldn’t fight him even if I wanted to. This man was a beast, a machine that could never be stopped.

That is a true alpha to you. They are a total different breed of animal that submit to no one and care about no one. There is no match for them, but maybe another true alpha.

No matter how much time I would spend training there is no chance that I would win in a fight against him, so I don’t even try.

Silently I submit no matter how much I would love to fight him for power and the bastard knows it. I could see it in his eyes.

The dark black pools that were drawing me in and it was pretty clear that his wolf was at the surface. Pacing around in his subconscious, ready to jump on me. Ready to fight me.

With a dark smile he leaned in even closer and whispered.

“Will I need to tie you up or will you behave?”

As he got closer I was hit with his scent and the bastard knew it.

His scent filled my lungs and I became light headed. All I wanted to do at this moment was bury my face in his neck and forget everything, to give in to the raging need to be close to him. To forget this messed up situation, but I couldn’t… I just couldn’t.

So I lifted my eyes and stared at him, in his eyes I saw his wolf calling out to mine. For the first time in three years I felt her.

I tried to ignore his body heat that made mine feel in ways that I do not want to admit.

I wanted to say something witty and smart, to show him how unmoved I am by his presence, but all I could push out was:

“Fuck you.”

“Tie you up it is.”

In one swift move I was no longer facing him, but the wall. He pulled out a pair of cuffs and clipped them on in one swift move.

I was sure that he didn’t learn it in police work or in torture, becuase in packs they ussually use wolfsbane rope, so my best guess is that he had other reasons to be so skilled in them… more kinky reasons.

I pushed those thoughts down as soon as they surfaced, because my current position was only adding to my growing attraction to him.

He dragged me from the wall he was holding me against and led me to the couch. Then he pushed me down and sat in front of me, on the coffee table that cracked under his weight.

“So my little mate, where have you been tonight?”

All I wanted to do was lie, but that wasn't an option. No matter how much I would like to deny it, he was my alpha and he was using his powers on me right now. Making it impossible for me to lie to him.

And he knew it, so he was very annoyed at my answer.

“I went for a ride.”

“Do not lie to me, Madeline. I know that it was more than just a simple joy ride. Where have you been this evening?”

“I am not lying. I went for a ride and by accident ended up in the Moon mills pack territory.”

The change in his face told me that he was getting closer to the answer he was looking for.

“I don’t see that Moon mills alpha was too happy about it. Oliver is never one to accept any drifters.”

“He wasn’t. So we had a little chat and now he won't mind about any drifter or anyone at all walking into his packs territory.”

His face got even darker.

“And how is that possible?”

“Well, it is very hard to mind when you are dead.”

He jumped to his feet and walked to the window. I could see that he was working very hard to control his wolf and it was impressive to see.

“Madeline… you killed four this month and two last month. And this is not counting the countless security personnel.”

Shit.

“How… how do you know about that?”

“Did you expect me to just let you go? Of Course I had you followed, your every move tracked and reported back to me.”

I froze for a moment. Feeling sick to my stomach.

I should have expected something like that. There is no chance that he would just let me go without someone following me.

“Why?”

“You know why. You are my mate and there are a lot of people that would love to see me suffering. Not to mention the few that know your true origins, would love to have you.”

I knew all of that.

It was no secret that a lot of pack alphas didn’t approve Percy's place in the council, not to mention the few that just wanted him gone, because they felt threatened by his power.

“And why do you care?”
