We finished the paperwork with the buying of the property rather quickly. As much as I wanted to pay for everything myself, Alex just won't let back down so we halved it. We decided to stay at home for at least a week first to pack everything. We had also taken the measurements inside the house so we could buy the furniture that we needed.

I wanted to just buy everything online so we could spend more time packing our stuff, but Alex insisted on buying them at a physical store so I just followed. We're currently inside a furniture shop and I'm already overwhelmed. There were tons of options and we're just in the living room section. On the other hand, Alex looks enthusiastic as fuck.

"What do you think about this one, baby? Should we get it in a leather finish or a fabric finish?" he asked, sitting down on one of the couches.

"Leather, I guess. With all the fur the dogs will produce, leather would be easier to clean as long they won't destroy them," I replied.
