After what felt like ages, Carl decides to step back into his chamber, however, he was met with a surprise. He saw a little figure on his bed, sound asleep.

To say he was stunned was an understatement. Carl didn't know how to react he was utterly confused. 'Who is the child and how did he get in, when I locked the door,' Carl mulled, taking slow strides toward the bed.
