Chapter 5

Harold turned his head and looked at him with his back to him. What kind of identity is he trying to portray? Isn\'t he Jillian\'s husband? Although he hated her, he’s still her husband.

He misunderstood Jillian because of the kidnapping today, so he still owes Jillian somewhat.

The door of the room was suddenly opened and Jillian came out of the room in embarrassment, with the clothes still drenched in the rainstorm. She leaned against the door and looked at the man in front of her, seeing his frowning brows. Are you embarrassing yourself again in front of him?

\"Harold, it\'s just a scene. You really came.\" Jillian said with sarcasm although she knew the pain in her heart.

Harold was inexplicably irritated because of her words, stretched out his hand and grabbed her cold wrist, \"Follow me back.\" That tone, obviously sounds disgusted, as if Jillian had embarrassed him.

Maximo still turned the cup in his hand, seemingly not interested in the interaction between them.

Jillian was dragged out by Harold and ran into Timothy who had just arrived. Timothy watched them leave, then looked back at the man sitting there drinking tea, \"Are they going away?\"

\"So, what if they go?\", Maximo laughed at him and finally drank the tea that he had been shaking for a long time.

\"Hey, when did you care about these things.\" Maximo is the most unrestrained in the group and he doesn’t care about anything.

\"I don\'t care about the people of the world, she is the only one...\", Maximo said in a low voice, a trace of firmness flashed in his eyes, and then looked up at Timothy who was sitting down automatically, \"What\'s the matter? Let\'s talk about it.\" .\"

Jillian was pulled into the car by him, and neither of them spoke. Harold actually wanted to apologize, because he didn\'t believe her tonight, but looking at Jillian\'s different face, he couldn\'t say the apology.

At the underground parking lot downstairs of the apartment, Jillian opened the door and got out of the car. Harold was left out in the cold and his expression gloomy.

He got out of the car and held her wrist with one hand, \"Jillian, don\'t you know how to go home after being rescued? Your home is here. Why are you still in the army camp?\"

\"What?\", Jillian looked back at him with inconceivability. She was kidnapped. She didn\'t say anything except sarcasm. She was saved. Why is he blaming her now? Is he blaming her for causing trouble to his uncle??

\"Am I wrong?\" He looked at Jillian\'s disheveled clothes, and then thought that she was kidnapped in the community. It would take at least an hour for the troops to pass from the community, but the woman actually followed. An unknown anger came up and coldly snorted, \"Jillian, do you think that just because Grandpa is in the hospital now, no one would back you up, so you want to find a new home?\"

\"Shameless...\", Jillian slapped him over, shaking with anger. Her eyes stared at his crooked cheek with anger and her hands clasped tightly.

Harold was beaten and his right cheek was numb. He stretched out his hand and wiped it on, then looked back at Jillian and shouted, \"Why? I just said what’s in my mind. Why do you have to look for someone to back you up? Do you really think my uncle worth it?\", he blurted out the cruel words again.

Jillian tried to control her trembling body, biting her lips tightly, clasping her hands tightly, and after taking a deep breath, the corners of her lips twitched slightly, \"Harold, I\'m blind. How could I look at a man like you back then?\" After speaking, she turned and left, but she was pulled by someone unexpectedly, pressed directly on the car door, hit the wound on her back, and her face instantly turned pale.

Harold\'s eyes were stern, and he held her wrist tightly with one hand. His whole body was pressed against her, \"Jillian, I warn you, stay away from Uncle Max and don\'t get dirty with your hypocritical means.\"

Jillian looked back without fear, endured the pain, and smiled, \"Harold, maybe your uncle likes my hypocritical methods?\"

Having said this, that fierce kiss suddenly flashed before her eyes, causing Jillian to shiver uncontrollably. It’s too much. It’s definitely too much.

\"Guilty.\" Harold looked at her with disgust, \"Jillian, is this your true face?\"

After being kidnapped, Jillian suddenly felt that she could no longer treat Harold as before. If she’s still the same as before, then she will be really embarrassed.

Harold was so close; it was the first time he saw Jillian like this. In fact, she was very beautiful. Although she was not the kind of beauty and domineering, but she was chaotic enough, so Harold stretched out his hand and touched her chin. He must apologize for what happened tonight, \"Jillian, today...\"

Before he could say the words, his phone rang, Harold let go of her, took out his phone and didn\'t know what was said over phone. Harold pushed Jillian away, opened the door and got in the car and left.

Jillian stood firm, with a bitter smile on her pale face. Rachel, she alone is more important than her. Jillian, what are you still insisting on?

Early the next morning, Jillian went back to work in the hospital and went to see her grandfather first because the kidnapping incident was on the news. Although there was no name or surname, the community would not change, so she had to go to comfort her grandfather.

Jillian has always emphasized that it is not her. She did not go out at home yesterday. The old man seemed to believe it. Jillian accompanied him for a while and went to work.
